ABB Electromagnetic Flowmeters ProcessMaster FEP300/FEP500 and HygienicMaster FEH300/FEH500
Safety instructions
Maintenance work should be carried out according to the guidelines, otherwise it may cause equipment failure, personnel injury, or environmental hazards, especially for certified equipment in explosion-proof environments. Non ABB technicians may cause certification failure during maintenance, and ABB does not assume quality responsibility for unofficial maintenance. It is recommended that ABB service technicians carry out maintenance.
Maintenance must comply with national and internal laws, especially those related to certified equipment in explosion-proof environments. Violation of maintenance regulations may result in revocation of operating permits.
Nameplate specifications and spare parts ordering
Identification of nameplate: The flowmeter version is determined by the nameplate on the equipment casing. When ordering spare parts, the order number on the nameplate should be indicated, including different nameplate styles for overall installation and remote installation design, as well as the nameplate information of the transmitter.
Key information: Order number, equipment software version, manufacturing year, etc. are crucial for spare parts ordering.
List of Main Components and Spare Parts
1. Transmitter housing (FEP311, FEP511, overall installation design)
Including double compartment and single compartment shells, it involves spare parts such as O-rings, shell covers, nameplates, etc. Different models correspond to different ordering numbers, such as the double compartment shell cover ordering number D379D172U01, and the single compartment shell and related accessories also have specific ordering information.
2. Terminal box (remote installation design)
FEP321, FEH321: including standard connection board, connection board with preamplifier, O-ring, nameplate, etc., such as standard connection board ordering number D685A1090U02.
FEP521, FEH521: structurally similar, spare parts include connection board, preamplifier board, etc., order number such as D685A1090U02A.
3. Upgrade kit
Upgrading FXE4000/FXM2000 to FET300/FET500: Designed for both integral and remote installation, including terminal boxes, adapter boards, and other components. The standard 24V kit for upgrading FXE to FET300 is ordered under the code D800D311U01.
FEP300/FEP500 series upgrade: such as a 10m signal cable kit for overall installation to remote installation, order number D800D514U02, etc.
4. External transmitters and plug-in modules
