DEIF BRW-1-NB Remote Display Unit

The DEIF BRW-1-NB is a versatile remote display unit designed for use with DEIF generator controllers including the AGC and PPU series. This compact operator interface enables remote monitoring and control of generator sets from a convenient location, separate from the main controller. The BRW-1-NB is ideal for marine bridge installations, engine room control stations, and industrial control rooms where local access to generator information is required.

Display and User Interface

The BRW-1-NB features a high-contrast graphical LCD display that presents generator parameters in a clear, organized format. The backlit screen ensures readability in various lighting conditions, from bright control rooms to dim engine rooms. The display shows key electrical values including voltage, current, frequency, active power, reactive power, and power factor for the monitored generator. Multiple screen layouts are available to suit different operator preferences and application requirements.

Remote Monitoring Capabilities

When connected to a DEIF AGC or PPU controller via the CAN bus interface, the BRW-1-NB provides complete access to all generator data. Operators can monitor engine parameters such as coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, and fuel level. Generator status information including running state, breaker position, and operational mode is displayed clearly. The unit can be configured to show data from any generator in a multi-generator installation when used with a networked system.

Control Functions

The BRW-1-NB enables remote control of generator operations from a convenient location. Authorized operators can initiate generator start and stop sequences, control breaker opening and closing, and acknowledge alarms directly from the remote display. Control functions are protected by password access to prevent unauthorized operation. The unit includes dedicated buttons for emergency stop and alarm silence functions, ensuring rapid response to critical situations.
