GE Fanuc IC693CPU331W Central Processing Unit for Series 90-30 PLC

The IC693CPU331W is a CPU module for the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 programmable logic controller platform. It features 24K bytes of user program memory (CMOS RAM with lithium battery backup) and 12K bytes of %R (register) memory. The CPU includes one RS-232 port (15-pin) for programming or SNP (Serial Network Protocol) communication, and one RS-485 port (5-pin) for SNP-X or LAN communications. The module is compatible with a wide range of Series 90-30 I/O and specialty modules. This CPU is also identified by alternate numbers 154447 (GE internal) and FSI 305349-001.

Compatibility and Applications

The IC693CPU331W is compatible with all Series 90-30 baseplates (5-slot, 10-slot) and all I/O modules (IC693, IC694, and IC695 series). It supports up to 8 expansion racks via the IC693CBL300 cable. Typical applications include machine control, conveyor systems, and small process skids. This CPU can be programmed with Proficy Machine Edition (versions 5.0 and up) or Logicmaster 90 (DOS). For memory expansion, an optional memory card (IC693ACC312) is available.

Special Notes

The 'W' suffix indicates the module conforms to RoHS/WEEE standards (lead-free solder). The IC693CPU331W replaces the earlier IC693CPU331 (non-W) with identical functionality. For battery replacement, the system must be powered on or the program will be lost; use only GE Fanuc approved lithium batteries.
