Functional Features
The PCS 810 supports simultaneous operation of multiple protocols on different ports, acting as a gateway or data concentrator. It includes a built-in scripting engine for custom data processing and conditional actions. The web interface allows remote monitoring, configuration, and firmware updates. The module can send email alerts on critical events and supports SNMP for network management. It also features a real-time clock and a battery backup for event timestamping.
The Ethernet port supports DHCP and static IP, and can be used for OPC UA communication (optional). The module can be integrated into IoT frameworks via MQTT.
Installation Guidelines
Mount on DIN rail, connect power and communication cables. Configure ports using the web interface or a PC tool. Set baud rates, parity, and protocol parameters. For RS485, ensure proper termination. For Ethernet, connect to a network switch.
