Functional Features
The PCS095.5 supports basic HMI functions: button controls, numeric input/output, bar graphs, and alarm displays. It includes a simple recipe manager and data logging to USB. Communication drivers cover Modbus RTU/TCP, and optional drivers for Siemens S7-200 and Mitsubishi FX. The panel is programmed using Lauer Configurator Lite, which offers a library of standard objects and a simple drag-and-drop interface. The panel can store up to 500 alarm events and 2,000 data log records.
Additional features include screen saver, adjustable backlight dimming, and password protection for up to 3 user levels. The Ethernet option enables remote access and firmware updates.
Installation Guidelines
Mount the panel in a panel cutout with the supplied clips and gasket. Connect the 24 V DC power supply with a 0.5 A fuse. For RS485, use shielded twisted-pair cable with termination resistors. For Ethernet, connect to a switch. The USB host port can be used for project upload/download or external storage.
Ensure adequate clearance behind the panel for connectors and cables. Avoid mounting in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
