At present, the rapid changes in the textile industry, the role played by new fiber raw materials such as functional and differential fibers, and melt injection technology, functional masterbatch, oil, additives, etc. are innovative elements to enhance the differentiation level of chemical fiber products, and their high-quality development is of great significance to promote the high-quality development of chemical fiber in China. In recent years, the new development and application of melt injection technology have further improved the flexible production level of direct spinning fiber in China, and the application of new technologies and new processes in the production of masterbatch, oil agent and auxiliary agent has promoted the green, efficient, functional and differential production of chemical fiber, especially polyester and nylon products in China. At the same time, the innovative development of textile chemical fiber products has also put forward new requirements for chemical fiber melt injection, masterbatch and oil additive industries.

On December 2, China Chemical Fiber Melt Injection, Masterbatch and oil Additives Advanced Technology Conference (Wuxi Juxin 2019) was held in Shengze, Jiangsu Province. The meeting was held to accelerate the development and transformation of new technologies and new processes in the chemical fiber melt injection, masterbatch and oil additives industry, disseminate the latest developments in the chemical fiber industry and textiles, master the new trends in chemical fiber, especially polyester and nylon products, and promote the collaborative development of chemical fiber melt injection, masterbatch and oil additives and chemical fiber industry.

Chen Xinwei, Vice president of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, addressed the meeting. He said that this year is the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, and China's chemical fiber industry has undergone fundamental changes in the past 70 years, and the output of chemical fiber has increased from 1.175 million tons in 1987 to 50.11 million tons in 2018, an increase of more than 42 times. In particular, the differentiation and functionalization of conventional chemical fiber varieties such as polyester, nylon, recycled cellulose fiber and recycled chemical fiber continue to improve, and the products are more in line with the actual needs of downstream diversification.

Functional masterbatch, oil, additives, etc. are essential supporting materials for chemical fiber production and processing, and play an important role in fiber differentiation, functional development, quality improvement and cleaner production. The United States, Germany, Japan and other countries have always been leading in the research of chemical fiber oil additives, mastering the key preparation technology of new efficient oil agents and compound oil agents, and China started late in this respect, which is developed with the continuous growth of chemical fiber industry, although it has formed a certain scale and basis, but the technical level is still a certain gap compared with Germany, Japan and the United States. In particular, supporting the development of high-end functional fibers masterbatch, oil, as well as functional additives, flame retardants, new modifiers, catalysts and other key raw materials are still heavily dependent on imports, which is a major supply risk for China's chemical fiber industry.

In the future, with the continuous promotion of high-quality development of China's chemical fiber industry, not only the amount and demand for functional masterbatches and oil additives will increase significantly, but also the quality, technology and variety of chemical fiber oil additives are also put forward higher requirements. Mainly: reduce the pollution of production and application process, reduce production energy consumption, and achieve green development; Improve product process adaptability, stability, environmental protection and safety; Strengthen the development of supporting monomer technology, enrich the product series, gradually replace imported products, change the import dependence of high-end functional fiber oil additives, ensure independent supply, and reduce the risk of the industrial chain. In addition, it is necessary to further strengthen industry standard management, improve product industry standards, and promote technical exchanges in the industry.

Wu Wenjing, director of the Information Department of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, summarized the historical experience of the development of the chemical fiber industry in the report, focused on analyzing the current economic operation of the chemical fiber industry, and prospected the operation and development of the industry. The current Sino-US trade friction and other factors have brought multiple tests to the chemical fiber industry to promote high-quality development, and the pressure on the economic operation of the chemical fiber industry has significantly increased, but under the industry's adherence to deepening supply-side structural reform and actively responding to risks, the industry is generally stable at present.

Wu Wenjing believes that the future downward pressure on the industry is still very large, risks and challenges are still the same, accelerate the promotion of high-quality development, and constantly improve the ability to resist risks, and the task is more urgent. With the gradual landing of the country's positive measures to promote high-quality development, the development and operation of the chemical fiber industry will also play a strong support, and the industry's own risk resistance and development resilience will continue to improve. What the industry should do is to "do its own thing", focus on resolving risks, strengthen industry self-discipline, avoid bad competition, and reasonably control the release of new production capacity.

In the process of promoting the high-quality development of the chemical fiber industry, the functionalization and differentiated high-quality development of general fibers such as polyester filament and nylon are still the primary factors to improve the quality of enterprise operation, and enterprises need to pay attention to innovative elements such as masterbatch oil.

Dr. Ji Peng, Collaborative Innovation Center of Key Technologies in Textile Industry, Donghua University, introduced the development trend of chemical fiber and the green development innovation system. He pointed out that the functional, green, intelligent, high-value development of the fiber industry and the development of the whole industrial chain are the new path for the development of China's fiber industry. At the same time, the green and sustainable fiber puts forward new requirements for injection technology, chemical fiber masterbatch and oil additives. The report introduces the development trend and green development requirements of chemical fiber functional fiber, the use of chemical fiber injection technology, masterbatch and oil additives and other innovative elements, with the help of chemical fiber products fusion copolymerization, blending, online addition, composite and other flexible preparation technology, to achieve chemical fiber green manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, fiber production is the key to high efficiency, low cost, high quality, customization.

Shen Shoubing, technical director of Shanghai Mercury Home Textiles Co., LTD., introduced that the research and development and application of functional fiber materials have promoted the great development of the home textile industry, enriched the types of home textile products, and improved the quality and sense of science and technology of products. In response to the escalating consumer demand, Shen Shoubing put forward suggestions for the research and development of functional fiber materials from the perspective of application: develop products with unique functions and new concepts, which can fill the gap in the market, have unique technology and outstanding data performance in some indicators, so that new products have the method and technology to present, so that consumers can see, smell and feel. He combined Mercury home textile years of operating experience suggested that fiber companies should listen to the voice of customers, joint development, to provide solutions rather than limited to selling products, to provide the ultimate service rather than just want to gain benefits, to be honest and trustworthy rather than ignore the rules, focusing on super cost-effective rather than absolute price.

Melt injection: Great change of chemical fiber direct spinning industry

Melt injection system refers to the method of spinning differential fiber by adding another melt (such as colored masterbatch, modified masterbatch, etc.) in chemical fiber spinning system, which provides an effective technical platform for chemical fiber manufacturers to develop and produce new products and improve the quality of differential fiber.

Wuxi Juxin Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully launched melt injection online addition system for ten years since 2010, and has carried out technical transformation of melt injection system equipment in a number of famous melt direct spinning enterprises in China, and has been well evaluated by relevant enterprises. At the meeting, Gu Zijiang, general manager of Wuxi Juxin, introduced the masterbatch adding overall solution and melt injection intelligent diagnostic system developed by the company.

It is understood that the master batch adding methods include screw adding weightlessness type, screw adding volume type and melt injection. Melt injection system refers to the method of spinning differential fibers by adding another melt (such as colored masterbatch, modified masterbatch, etc.) in the chemical fiber spinning system. Compared with screw added weight loss type and volume type, melt injection can be suitable for direct spinning and slice spinning, the biggest difference is that the product quality of melt injection is controllable, the core technology of melt injection is dynamic mixer, its dynamic mixing effect is good, dyeing uniformity 100% reaches 4.5 level, and the product has no color difference. It can be said that melt injection system provides an effective technical platform for chemical fiber manufacturers to develop and produce new products and improve the quality of differentiated fibers.

Since 2013, Zhejiang Hengyi Polymer Co., Ltd. has cooperated with Wuxi Juxin Company to develop a melt injection device (18 bits/set). Through continuous run-in, the device now operates reliably and the product quality is recognized by users. Wang Xingang, assistant general manager of Hengyi Polymer, recalled the background of the cooperation at that time, when the company's traditional conventional spinning device basically had no space to survive, the company has been thinking about how to make these old devices and old equipment run again through transformation. Later, we cooperated with Wuxi Juxin to transform these old devices and old equipment, and developed the melt injection device, which can be said to be a major change and milestone in the chemical fiber direct spinning industry. At present, Hengyi Polymer company has more than 20 sets of melt injection adding devices, most of which are used in the old production line, with stable product quality and reliable operation of the device.

For the future of melt injection devices, Wang Xingang suggested not only going abroad, but also continuing to expand other application areas, such as: It is used in nylon 66 spinning, nylon 6 spinning, viscose industry, staple fiber PSF industry, direct spinning online addition of functional batches, online addition of composite spinning (such as island silk), industrial silk and injection of bottle sheet spinning, etc., using this technology to upgrade and iteration of products. In terms of energy consumption, it is hoped that the technology will be broken through again, and the melt injection device with low energy consumption and more competitive will be developed. In the aspect of data, the remote operation and maintenance system is realized, including equipment management, quality management, predictive maintenance and other modules, which optimize the operation dynamics of the device through the implementation of data collection and analysis, and are always in a controlled state; In terms of intelligence, it is hoped that the equipment will be more intelligent, such as the automatic opening of the freezer valve and the automatic closing of the three-way valve.

Masterbatch: Leading the green development of chemical fiber industry

Especially with the successful application of dynamic mixing system developed and produced by Wuxi Juxin Technology Co., Ltd. in direct spinning production line, the application range of color masterbatch products in chemical fiber production has expanded from slice spinning to melt direct spinning production line. Therefore, according to the equipment characteristics of the direct spinning on-line addition system and the characteristics of the masterbatch melt, the development of color masterbatch has been improved in the aspects of plasticization, fluidity, dispersion filtration and spinnability. The quality stability of spinning grade carbon black has a great influence on the spinning performance and production efficiency.

As the user, the relevant representatives of Jiangsu Hengli Group, Rongsheng Petrochemical and New Fengming introduced that the company mainly uses black masterbatch and full extinction masterbatch, and has also been using the poly new melt injection system, which has been used for many years with very good effect. However, there are still some problems such as low masterbatch stability and short equipment cycle, which need to be further improved in the future.

Oil agent: the future development space is large

As an essential ingredient in the production of chemical fiber, chemical fiber oil additives have become an important factor affecting the high-quality development of chemical fiber industry. With the research and development of new chemical fiber equipment, new varieties and new technologies entering a deeper level, in the face of more stringent national environmental protection policy requirements, it is urgent to improve the research and development and production level of chemical fiber oil additives in our country.

In order to fully grasp the development status of China's chemical fiber oil additives industry and understand the demand of chemical fiber enterprises for oil additives, the oil additives branch of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association organized a survey of China's chemical fiber oil additives industry. Li Ye, deputy Secretary-General of the oil Additives Branch of China Chemical Fiber Association, introduced the research situation. Research shows that the conventional fiber oil additives lubrication, anti-static, adhesion, anti-coking and gasification temperature, active ingredient volatilization rate and other factors affecting the high-quality development of chemical fiber still exist, functional, differential fiber and high-tech fiber oil additives lack pertinence. Research enterprises believe that there is a big gap between domestic oil and imported oil in product performance and new product development ability. It is suggested that oil enterprises should strengthen their efforts in the links of industrial chain linkage, standards and specifications, green environmental protection, product performance improvement, and new product development.

Zhong Min from Shanghai Duolun Chemical Co., Ltd. introduced the development and application of high efficiency and environmental protection oil for high-speed spinning processing of chemical fiber. The continuous progress of chemical fiber industry provides a new platform and opportunity for chemical fiber oil agents, and the research and development and application of new environmental protection and efficient chemical fiber oil agents has become a key project to promote the textile industry. The low volatile and low VOC polyester oil developed by the company has achieved good antistatic effect, low volatilization rate of organic matter, and VOC has reached the national standard of organic volatile materials of automotive interior materials. It has been successfully promoted and applied in the field of automotive interior fibers, and has been praised by customers.

Wang Liang, general manager of Wujiang Liangyan Textile Auxiliary Factory, introduced the development and application of chemical fiber green oil agent.
