Construction of a modern infrastructure system was accelerated

China's high-speed rail, expressways, power grid, 4G network scale is ranked first in the world.

Look at the quality. Major projects such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge have been completed and put into operation, and the Beijing-Shanghai Trunk Line, the world's first quantum secure communication backbone, has been completed. A number of landmark projects lead the world, demonstrating the style of a big country.

Historic achievements have been made in the development of transportation, energy, water conservancy and new infrastructure, which have strongly guaranteed China's economic and social development.

The delegates said that infrastructure is an important support for economic and social development, and it is necessary to balance development and security, optimize the layout, structure, function and development mode of infrastructure, and build a modern infrastructure system to lay a solid foundation for comprehensively building a modern socialist country.

We will speed up the building of a strong transport country

Sichuan-tibet Post Road Kangding to Dege section, known as the snow line post road. With an altitude of 6,168 meters, Chouer Mountain is known as the "first risk in Sichuan and Tibet". By the end of 2021, China will have 150,000 kilometers of railways in operation, 160,000 kilometers of expressways open to traffic, 4.466 million kilometers of rural roads, 250 airports and 5,581 air routes, and 128,000 kilometers of inland waterways open to traffic.

The layout is more balanced. Railway operating mileage in the central and western regions accounted for 60% of the national proportion. Every county has roads, and rural roads have increased by more than 900,000 kilometers in the past ten years.

Service quality improved. China's high-speed railways cover more than 95 percent of cities with a population of more than one million, expressways more than 98 percent of cities with a population of more than 200,000, and civil transport airports cover about 92 percent of prefecture-level cities. Express delivery handled nearly 300 million items a day, and 100 percent of qualified villages had buses.
