Positive progress has been made in energy conservation and emission reduction, pollution prevention and control, and comprehensive utilization of resources, brand building continues to play a supporting role of "increasing varieties, improving quality, and creating brands", and talent construction actively supports industry innovation and development.

Since the "13th Five-Year Plan", the development of the chemical fiber industry has achieved good results, but there are also many problems that plague the development of the industry and need continuous attention, mainly including: Investment in some industries still needs to be rational, some key equipment, raw material technology shortcomings still need to break through, import dependence is high, the upstream and downstream collaborative development of high-performance fibers needs to be promoted, recycling, degradable materials, bio-based materials need to accelerate technological progress and market expansion.

Second, the situation facing the development of the 14th Five-Year Plan

The "14th Five-Year Plan" period is a critical period for China to move from building a well-off society in an all-round way to basically realizing socialist modernization. Development goals and key tasks for the 14th Five-Year Plan Period

In order to achieve the above goals, the six key tasks of the development of chemical fiber industry include:

First, innovation-driven development.
