The effect of industrial agglomeration appears

At present, Changji City 330,000 acres of high-quality machine-picked cotton into the key period of flower and bell field pipe. In recent days, various cotton-related townships and machine-picking cotton production enterprises have actively organized professional personnel to guide cotton farmers to use modern scientific and technological means to increase cotton production and cotton farmers' income.

In recent years, the intensive, large-scale, mechanized and intelligent level of cotton production in Xinjiang has been greatly improved. By 2022, the machine-picked rate of cotton in Xinjiang will reach 85.6%, and the cotton production in 25 cotton-growing counties (cities), such as Shawan City and Shaya County, will already account for 90% of the total cotton production in Xinjiang.

Under the mechanization, digitalization and intelligentization, the cotton industry in Xinjiang has accelerated the development of the whole industrial chain, and the per unit yield, total amount and quality of Xinjiang cotton have been significantly improved, the international competitiveness has been significantly enhanced, and the industrial agglomeration effect has begun to appear.

On July 25, in the production workshop of Aksu Haimeng Textile Technology Co., Ltd. located in the circular economy industrial park of Shaya County, workers are busy on the production line in an orderly manner. "Orders are sufficient, and the products are fully produced and sold." Wang Dong, deputy general manager of the company, said that from January to July, the gross product of the enterprise was 100 million yuan, an increase of 50% compared with last year, and the company will expand the scale of production and actively expand overseas markets.

In the first half of the year, the industrial added value of textile and garment enterprises above designated size in the region increased by 7% year-on-year, 1.8 percentage points higher than the industrial growth rate in the region. Production of 1.167 million tons of yarn, an increase of 9.8%, 558 million meters of cloth, an increase of 27.6%.

The overall industrial competitiveness has been enhanced

Since July, Korla Huitongtai Printing and Dyeing Technology Co., Ltd. has been producing at full capacity, with a daily output of 15 tons of knitted fabric and a double twist output of about 12 tons. "The second phase of the new materials Industrial park expansion project has completed the equipment order, and the production will be commissioned in October." Guan Yue, general manager of the company, said that the company will continue to increase investment in scientific research and enhance competitiveness.

Korla Huitongtai Printing and Dyeing Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the 43 textile enterprises in Korla Economic and Technological Development Zone. At present, there are 10 industrial enterprises with an annual output value of more than 1 billion yuan in the development zone, 4 of which are textile enterprises. The total output value of the textile and garment industry in the development zone has exceeded 10 billion yuan, becoming the first textile industry cluster in Xinjiang with an output value of 10 billion.

Today, that number is still rising. Korla Development Zone has been focusing on industrial planning, leading enterprises, expanding industrial clusters, and actively transforming textile resources into differentiated competitive advantages.

The development zone and Nantong City of Jiangsu Province to strengthen cooperation in the way of business investment to introduce Henghui Group, import the international leading level of spunlaced non-woven production line, products to fill the gap in the five provinces in the northwest. At present, Xinjiang Zhongtai Henghui Medical Materials Co., Ltd. has 7 production lines into operation. In April 2024, after all 12 production lines of Zhongtai Henghui are put into operation, the whole industry chain will be extended from fiber raw materials to the product terminal market, and 140,000 tons of high white viscose fiber can be consumed on the ground, promoting the industrial upgrading of the textile industry and the development of new materials industry, which is of great significance to the textile industry.

At the same time, in accordance with the development layout of the whole cotton industry chain, viscose industry chain, and new material research and development, Xinjiang Zhongtai Textile and Garment Group Co., LTD., with the assistance of the Development Zone, has integrated Korla Zhongtai Textile Technology Co., LTD., Xinjiang Fuzhenlon Cotton Textile Co., LTD., Bazhou Jinju Special Yarn Industry Co., LTD., and Xinjiang Lihua (Group) Co., LTD. It has formed an industrial chain of "improved seed breeding, cotton planting, seed cotton purchasing and processing, cotton spinning and weaving", as well as an industrial system of "viscose staple fiber production, spinning and textile weaving".

Liu Qin, director of the Economic Development Bureau of Korla Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee, said that around the unique advantages of cotton, viscose and ultra-deep oil and gas resources in Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, the development zone has built an annual output of 5 million spindle scale, and actively undertake the transfer of textile industry in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and Korla Shangku Refining Industrial Park, and viscose production enterprises. Using cotton, viscose, chemical fiber, apocynum and other fibers as raw materials, we produce green, high-end, high quality and high value-added textile products.

The development momentum of the whole chain is stronger

At present, the scale and technical level of Xinjiang cotton textile industry ranks the forefront in China, weaving, printing and dyeing, clothing and home textile knitting industry has begun to take shape, the pace of industrial transfer has been significantly accelerated, the industrial structure has been optimized, and the agglomeration development effect has gradually emerged, and it has become the most important cotton textile production base, viscose fiber production base and the main clothing processing base in Northwest China.

Not long ago, a government and enterprise delegation from Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, went to Xinjiang to carry out investment investigation activities and reached a consensus on practical cooperation to build the cotton textile industry chain and achieve win-win industrial cooperation.

Qingyuan City plans to build an offline hypermarket for Xinjiang textiles in South China to fully meet the needs of intelligent manufacturing raw materials and consumption. The two places will also further improve the strength and toughness of the cotton textile industry chain and supply chain through industrial cluster construction, digital empowerment and other measures.

On March 28, the first Xinjiang textile and garment industry investment promotion Conference was held in Shanghai, and 10 enterprises signed investment intent agreements with Aksu region, Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture and Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, with a total investment of 18.5 billion yuan. At present, Xinjiang is accelerating the construction of cotton and textile and garment industry clusters, and actively expanding the industrial development space. The textile project signed this time is based on recruiting large, strong, excellent, strong chain, extended chain, and complementary chain, which has injected new momentum into the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry.

"In the second half of the year, we will continue to optimize the industrial structure and promote the extension of the chain to strengthen the chain." Wang Qing, director of the textile industry Management Office of the Industry and Information Technology Department of the Autonomous region, said that it will make full use of the existing paraxylene (PX) and refined terephthalic acid (PTA) production capacity in Xinjiang to promote polyester (fiber) projects to achieve production as soon as possible to achieve the coordinated development of the cotton spinning industry and chemical fiber industry. At the same time, increase efforts to attract investment, promote the industry to the downstream terminal industry, continue to expand the scale of weaving, clothing, home textiles, knitting and industrial textiles and other back-end industries, and promote the coordinated development of the entire textile and garment industry chain.
