Dashboard: Real time display of SPC charts, Top NOK applications, tool maintenance status, and the latest results.
Traceability: Supports retrieving all tightening results and curves by time interval, VIN number, or bolt number.
FMS Authorization System - Flexible License Management
PF6000 adopts a brand new FMS (Functional Management System) license platform and distributes functional licenses through the Customer Portal. Two deployment methods:
Server mode (ToolsTalk 2 integration): Suitable for networked production lines, it can quickly redistribute functions between virtual workstations.
USB device mode: Suitable for network free environments, transfer license files through USB flash drive, plug and play.
The flexibility of FMS is reflected in the ability to increase the number of virtual workstations as needed, test advanced features, and deliver instantly without waiting for physical media.
Fieldbus and Open Protocol
PF6000 supports three mainstream fieldbuses:
DeviceNet
EtherNet/IP
ProfiNet IO
Simultaneously supporting Open Protocol - Atlas Copco standard communication protocol for remote control and data subscription. Open Protocol is platform independent (Linux, PLC, Windows can all be implemented), supports Ethernet connections, interacts instructions through MID (Message ID), and maintains backward compatibility.
Key points of engineering deployment and maintenance
10.1 Environment and Installation
Working temperature: 5~50 ℃, relative humidity ≤ 80% (linearly decreasing to 50% @ 50 ℃ at 31 ℃).
The altitude does not exceed 2000 meters.
The controller is equipped with an E-stop safety circuit (Class 3) and must be correctly connected to the emergency stop switch.
10.2 Tool Calibration and Maintenance
Sensor accuracy verification and motor tuning are completed through the "Tool Menu".
It is recommended to conduct a major overhaul once a year or after 250000 tightening cycles (whichever comes first), and the interval should be shortened for high load conditions.
IP54 protection effectively prevents dust and water splashes, but ETT/ETP does not meet this protection level.
10.3 Frequently Asked Questions Quick Search
Possible causes and suggestions for handling the phenomenon
Tightening the Rundown complete setting too high or reducing the rigidity of the joint to near tight fit
Turbo Tight cannot be used to replace non STR tools or PF4000 controllers with Tensor STR tools or upgrade controllers
IAM is unable to identify poor contact or incompatible firmware for cleaning contacts. Please check if the IAM version matches the controller firmware
Perform maintenance checks for abnormal tool vibration/noise, gear wear or bearing oil shortage, and replace the gear set if necessary
Network communication failure, IP address conflict or network cable failure. Check Ethernet settings and test physical connections
