K-Master Console: A Model of Integrated Design

The K-Master bridge solution provides an excellent operating platform for various types of ships. Originally designed specifically for offshore support vessels (OSVs), the aft bridge has now been expanded to include bridges for various ship types such as merchant ships and yachts. Its highly integrated features are particularly suitable for space constrained cockpits or multi-purpose vessels, which require dynamic adjustment of optimal configurations based on the immediate needs of operators.

The core advantage of K-Master lies in its unified user interface. In the complete K-Master installation, the following systems share the same operational logic and appearance:

Dynamic Positioning System (DP) and Independent DP Control Rod

A touch sensitive control panel is used for user interaction, while multiple large screen displays are arranged around the seat, presenting status information from various subsystems.

When configured for ship maneuvering (including K-Pos DP system), the rear cab workstation is equipped with redundant power supply and user interface equipment, and a single seat can be used as a dual DP operation station, improving the reliability of critical tasks.

Front console workstation

The front console workstation focuses on navigation tasks. The seat armrest integrates K-Bridge ECDIS, radar/ARPA, navigation data display, and autopilot control devices. The system can be easily expanded to include K-Pos DP and K-Chief alarm and monitoring systems. The operator interacts with all systems through the touch screen and surrounding large screens to maintain comprehensive control over the navigation situation.

The K-Master seat can be paired with various control consoles and display brackets, and can also be installed independently in customized driver's consoles designed by shipyards or suppliers.
