NACHI Industrial Robot Full Series Technical Analysis: High Speed, High Precision, and Diversified Automation Solutions

Overview of Product Series and Application Fields

The NACHI robot product line is divided into multiple series based on functionality and application scenarios, covering four core areas: handling, palletizing, clean room, and welding. It also provides a wide range of option controllers and supporting software.

MZ series: High speed, high-precision, compact robots

The MZ series is NACHI's most representative small high-speed robot, known for its compact structure, high speed, high precision, and multiple installation methods. This series has a load capacity ranging from 1kg to 25kg, with a maximum working radius ranging from 350mm to 1882mm, and is available in 5-axis or 6-axis configurations.

2.1 Main Models and Performance Highlights

MZ07/MZ07P: Load 7kg, radius 723mm, repeat positioning accuracy ± 0.02mm. Body weight is only 36kg, power consumption 0.4kVA. Supports floor, wall mounted, inverted, and tilted installation. IP67 protection level (dustproof and waterproof), with rust proof/coolant resistant coating, suitable for harsh environments such as machine tool loading and unloading, deburring, etc.

MZ07L/MZ07LP: Long arm version, radius 912mm, load 7kg, also maintaining ± 0.02mm accuracy.

MZ10: Load 10kg, radius 723mm, same external dimensions and workspace as MZ07, but load increased to 10kg. IP67 equivalent.

MZ12: Load 12kg, radius 1454mm, accuracy ± 0.03mm.

MZ25: Load 25kg, radius 1882mm, accuracy ± 0.05mm, suitable for handling heavier workpieces.

Internal wiring: The tool cable is completely embedded in the robot arm, greatly improving cable reliability and allowing for operation in narrow spaces.

2.3 Safety Design

Some models of the MZ series (such as MZ07P) integrate dual security mechanisms:

EC Series: New SCARA Robot

The EC06 series is a horizontal multi joint (SCARA) robot launched by NACHI, with a simple structure, high speed, and high precision, designed specifically for applications such as assembly and handling.

3.2 Structural advantages

The end shaft of the EC series adopts a hollow structure, and the trachea and cables can be directly connected from the inside of the robot to the tool without external wiring, significantly simplifying the design of complex fixtures and improving reliability and aesthetics.

EZ series: SCARA robot with vertical first axis

The EZ series is known as the "Wing Slicer Type" robot, and its most prominent feature is the vertically arranged first axis (J1 axis for vertical lifting), which saves installation space. At the same time, it retains the high-speed and high-precision characteristics of SCARA.

The internal wiring design of the EZ series also adopts a hollow structure to the end of the wrist, significantly improving the cable life. The compact vertical first axis allows it to be installed in narrow spaces, such as inside equipment or next to conveyor belts.


MC Series and MR Series: Multi purpose and 7-axis Flexible Robots

5.1 MC Series: Powerful and Compact Multipurpose Robots

The MC series is known for its high dust and water resistance, excellent performance, and full functional range, making it suitable for various production environments.

Main models:

MC10S/MC10L: Load 35kg, radius 2050mm/1260mm, accuracy ± 0.07mm, IP67 (wrist)/IP54 (body), power consumption 5.0kVA.

MC12S: Load 50kg, radius 1398mm, accuracy ± 0.06mm, power consumption 1.0kVA.

MC20: Load 70kg, radius 2050mm, accuracy ± 0.07mm.

MC280L/MC350: Heavy duty, load 280kg/350kg, radius 2771mm/3101mm, IP65 equivalent.

MC400L/MC600/MC700/MC1000DL: Super heavy, with a load of 400kg to 1000kg, a maximum radius of 3972mm, and a repeatability accuracy of ± 0.03 to 0.05mm.

The large models in the MC series adopt a simple structure without counterweights or parallel connecting rods (such as MC350), with compact arms and minimal installation space. Welding cables and hoses can be built into hollow arms to extend their service life.

5.2 MR series: 7-axis flexible robot

The MR series (MR35, MR50) has 7 degrees of freedom and can achieve complex movements through programmable postures, enabling flexible operations in narrow spaces that other robots cannot enter.

MR35: Load 35kg, radius 2050mm, J1-J6 speed 180-420 °/s, wrist allowable torque 160N · m, moment of inertia 16kg · m ², weight 745kg.

The specially developed dedicated stamping arm accessory enables the MR series to achieve an 8-meter stamping cycle and high-speed horizontal movement of workpieces. High rigidity design and vibration suppression technology bring excellent speed performance.


Heavy duty handling and palletizing robot

6.1 MC Heavy duty Handling Series

The heavy-duty models in the MC series (MC280L, MC350, MC400L, MC600, MC700, MC1000DL) are designed specifically for tasks such as automotive body handling and heavy-duty casting. Its large wrist torque and wide operating range have opened up a new era of heavy lifting.

MC1000DL: Load 1000kg, radius 3756mm, accuracy ± 0.05mm, power consumption 19.3kVA, weight 9000kg.

6.2 High speed palletizing series (LP series)

The LP series is a specialized palletizing robot that excels at quickly completing large-scale movements. It can quickly stack cardboard boxes and bagged products (food, chemicals) onto pallets, with built-in rich stacking functions and support for multiple stacking modes.

6.3 MC Series Stacking Heavy Edition

Cleanroom robot

NACHI provides ST-C series and SC400LC cleanroom handling robots for clean environments such as semiconductors and flat panel displays.

ST210TP-01:6 axis, load 80kg, radius 3101mm, repeatability ± 0.03mm, IP67 equivalent (wrist), power consumption 9.0kVA, weight 1660kg.

SC400LC: 6-axis, load 400kg, radius 3756mm, used for handling large glass substrates, cleanliness level meets ISO 14644-1.


Welding robot: SRA series

The SRA series is NACHI's advanced spot welding and arc welding robot, which significantly reduces cycle time with hollow arm structure, ultra-high speed, and vibration suppression technology.

8.1 SRA-H series (built-in cable spot welding)

SRA100HS/SRA100HB/SRA100H: Load 100kg, radius 1634-2044mm.

SRA133H/SRA133HL: Load 133kg, radius 2654-2951mm.

The welding gun cable is completely embedded in the hollow arm, improving cable reliability and increasing operation rate; A simpler appearance facilitates direct installation on assembly lines, improving the accuracy of offline programming.

8.2 SRA series (ultra high speed spot welding)

SRA100/SRA133/SRA166/SRA210/SRA240/SRA250: Load 100-250kg, radius 1634-2951mm.

8.3 Seam welding function

NACHI is the only company in the world that has successfully installed seam welding machines on robots. Seam welding is used for components that require airtight joints (such as car fuel tanks), where two roller electrodes rotate and are energized on the surface of the material to form a continuous weld seam. The robot seam welding kit can achieve high-speed and consistent seam welding on three-dimensional surfaces, and is equipped with various application functions such as electrode grinding and electrode wear compensation.

SRA166HT/SRA210HT/SRA210V, etc. are available in extended arm and high torque versions, with a load of 166-210kg and a radius of up to 3087mm, meeting special requirements such as welding inside the vehicle body.

NACHI offers multiple Windows based intelligent robot controllers for unified management of robots, additional axes, vision sensors, force sensors, and networks.

9.1 FD Controller (FD18)

Standard controller, suitable for most robots.
