Specialized NSv Technology

Standard proximity probes require a specific "clear space" around the tip to avoid side-loading the magnetic field. The NSv Proximitor is tuned to handle the smaller 3300 NSv probes, which have a tighter field pattern, allowing them to provide accurate vibration and gap data in cramped quarters such as centrifugal compressors and aero-derivative turbines.
Signal Conversion and Linearity
Like all Bently Nevada proximitors, the 330980-51-00 converts the RF signal from the probe into a DC voltage (the Gap) and an AC voltage (the Vibration).
