The LCA200 supports a wide range of communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus DP (optional), CANopen, Ethernet/IP, and Siemens S7. It includes a built-in web server for remote diagnostics, data logging to USB or microSD, and comprehensive alarm management. Configuration is performed using Lauer Configurator Pro, which provides a rich library of graphical objects, trend charts, recipe handling, and multi-language support. The panel supports up to 10 user levels with password protection.
Additional features include screen saver, adjustable backlight dimming, and a watchdog timer for automatic system reset. The Ethernet port supports DHCP and static IP addressing, and the USB ports allow connection of external storage or peripherals.
Mount the panel in a panel cutout using the supplied clips and gasket. Connect the 24 V DC power supply with a 1.5 A fuse. For RS485, use shielded twisted-pair cable with 120 Ω termination resistors. For Ethernet, use CAT5e cable. Ensure proper grounding and avoid routing signal cables parallel to power lines. Provide at least 60 mm clearance behind the panel for ventilation and cable connections.
