Functional Features

The PCs090 supports multiple communication protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, Siemens S7 (MPI/PPI/Profibus), Allen-Bradley DF1, Mitsubishi FX, and Omron Host Link. It includes a built-in web server for remote access and diagnostics. The panel can log up to 5,000 alarm events and 20,000 data log records to USB or SD card. Configuration is done with Lauer Configurator Pro, offering a rich library of graphical objects, trend charts, and recipe management.

The function keys can be customized to execute macros or direct commands, and the panel supports multi-language text with user-level password protection. Additional features include screen saver, adjustable backlight dimming, and a watchdog timer for automatic reset.

Installation Guidelines

Mount the panel in a panel cutout with the supplied clips and gasket. Connect the 24 V DC power supply with a 1 A fuse. For RS485, use shielded twisted-pair cable with 120 Ω termination resistors. For Ethernet, use CAT5e cable. The USB ports can be used for project upload/download or external storage. Ensure proper grounding and avoid routing cables near high-voltage sources.
