The NX-X16D uses high-quality electromechanical relays with silver alloy contacts for reliable switching in industrial environments. Each relay provides both normally open and normally closed terminals, offering flexibility for fail-safe or normally energized applications. The module includes snubber circuits across the contacts to reduce arcing when switching inductive loads, extending relay life.
Individual red LEDs on the front panel clearly indicate the energized state of each relay, allowing rapid visual verification of output status. The module also features a green power LED and a red communication/error LED. The module can report relay contact weld or coil failure diagnostics to the host controller when used with compatible PLC systems.
The RS NX-X16D is ideal for applications requiring isolated, high-voltage switching capability.
