At the core of the XYCOM 9485’s technical capabilities is its extensive input/output (I/O) interface, which supports a wide array of analog and digital signals. Its modular design allows for seamless expansion, accommodating up to 128 discrete I/O points and 64 analog channels, enabling precise monitoring and control of critical process variables. This flexibility is essential for applications in the power industry where real-time data acquisition from turbines, generators, and switchgear is crucial. The 9485 also features a high-speed processing unit capable of executing control algorithms with minimal latency, ensuring rapid response times in safety-critical operations.
