Why strengthen power demand side management

1. Stimulate the potential of demand-side resource regulation and enhance the flexibility of the power system

For example, in the form of price incentives, offer offers to adjustable and controllable resources, and encourage users to reduce electricity consumption when the power supply is tight, so as to ensure the flexibility of the power system.

2. Strengthen the bottom line thinking of power safety to ensure the balance between supply and demand of the power system

With the continuous increase of electricity load, especially in the peak time of high temperature in summer and cold wave in winter, the power demand shows an obvious peak, which seriously threatens the safety and stability of the power grid.
