During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's chemical parks will jump from standardized development to high-quality development, focusing on the chemical park industry to promote innovation, green construction, intelligent construction, standardized construction and high-quality development demonstration, organize the implementation of "five key projects", focus on cultivating a number of first-class competitive industrial bases and characteristic parks, five world-class industrial clusters have begun to take shape. To build "65 key petrochemical bases and professional chemical parks" and "5 50", that is, to build 50 science and innovation centers in the park, create 50 "green chemical parks", build 50 "smart chemical parks", formulate and promulgates 50 management and construction standards for chemical parks and cultivate 50 high-quality development demonstration projects.

By 2035, the layout of petroleum and chemical parks across the country will be scientific and reasonable, and all hazardous chemical production enterprises will enter standardized chemical parks or realize park-like management. All chemical parks have been built into smart chemical parks and green chemical parks, becoming a synergy and gathering highland for the petrochemical industry with "blue sky, clear water and green grass" and becoming an important support for the high-quality development of the petrochemical industry and a powerful petrochemical country.

Optimize the layout of chemical parks

Yang Ting, secretary-general of the Chemical Park Working Committee of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, said that during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, a series of national industry policies have emphasized the important role of chemical parks in the optimization of the layout and high-quality development of China's petroleum and chemical industry.
