China's shipbuilding international market share has ranked first in the world for 13 consecutive years

The economic operation of China's shipbuilding industry in 2022 is stable and good on the whole. The shipbuilding market share has remained a global leader, new breakthroughs have been made in high-end equipment, the resilience and safety of the industrial chain and supply chain have been improved, the destocking of Marine engineering equipment has achieved remarkable results, and the quality of economic operations has significantly improved. China's shipbuilding completions, new orders and hand-held orders accounted for 47.3%, 55.2% and 49.0% of the world's total deadweight tons, respectively. China's backbone ship enterprises maintain strong international competitiveness, respectively, six enterprises entered the world's shipbuilding completion volume, new orders and hand-held orders in the top 10.

Second, new breakthroughs have been made in high-end equipment, and green-powered ships have grown rapidly. Fifth, seize the favorable opportunity of the market, and the industry efficiency has improved. In 2022, shipping enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency by strengthening the plan management of shipbuilding nodes, implementing intelligent transformation of production lines, and strengthening cost management. Sixth, the effect of structural adjustment is obvious, and the quality of new ship orders continues to improve.
