Whether these two extensions can be supported simultaneously on the same platform determines the smoothness and cost of the production line transformation. The MVP-6200 series launched by ADLINK is a value based fanless embedded computer designed to solve this contradiction. It is equipped with the 12th generation Intel ® Core ™ Processor (Alder Lake), R680E chipset, DDR5 memory, and offer 2 or 4 slot backplane options, with the 4 slot version including 1 x PCIe Gen4 x16, 2 x PCIe Gen3 x4, and 1 x traditional PCI slot. It also supports four independent 4K displays and three 2.5GbE TSN networks. Product series and model matrix
The MVP-6200 series is divided into multiple sub models based on processor performance, power consumption, and backplane slot positions, with clear naming conventions:
MVP-6249/6247: Equipped with i9-12900E (16 cores, 65W) or i7-12700E (12 cores, 65W), 4-slot backplane (PCIe Gen4 x16+2 x PCIe Gen3 x4+PCI)
MVP-6247T/6245T: Equipped with i7-12700TE (12 cores, 35W) or i5-12500TE (6 cores, 35W), 4-slot backplane

The "62" series has 2 slots, while the "64" series has 4 slots. All models use Intel ® R680E chipset, supports vPro/AMT (specific models), 4 x DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, maximum 128GB 3600MHz memory. The height of the two slot model is 165mm, and the height of the four slot model is 206mm. The width and depth are both 210mm × 240mm, with weights of 5.01kg and 5.4kg, respectively.
External I/O interfaces: quad display, tri network, multi serial port
MVP-6200 arranges all external interfaces on the front and right sides (see Figure 3-1/3-2), with a single-sided maintenance design that facilitates on-site wiring.
1. Display output

2. Network communication
Onboard 3 x Intel I225-LM 2.5GbE ports, supporting TSN (Time Sensitive Network), including IEEE 802.1AS precise time synchronization and 802.1Qav traffic shaping. The three network ports can be configured as redundant links or load balancing, and support WOL and PXE.
3. USB and serial port

The MVP-6200 series offers two backplane options to meet different expansion needs:
2-slot backplate (MVP-622x)
1 x PCIe Gen4 x16 slot: directly connected to CPU, providing up to 16 GT/s bandwidth, suitable for high-performance GPU, AI acceleration card or high-speed image acquisition card.
1 x PCI slot: Based on ITE IT8892E PCIe to PCI bridge, connected to the host through PCIe x1 Gen3 interface, supporting universal or 5V 32-bit PCI card (33MHz). This allows a large number of legacy PCI motion control cards, data acquisition cards, and serial port cards to continue serving without the need for replacement.

All PCIe slots support Gen3/Gen4 auto negotiation, and the backplane provides an independent 12V Extra Power connector to ensure stable operation of high-power expansion cards. Board installation space
