6.2 Windows NT Special Installation Sequence (Non Plug and Play OS)
The manual specifically reminds Windows NT users to pay attention to the following points:
First install the LAN driver, then install the service pack.
First install the Service Pack (recommended SP6 or higher), then install the VGA/AGP driver, otherwise AGP functionality may not be enabled.
If a warning message appears during system startup, check the Event Viewer to locate the source of the problem.
If abnormal phenomena occur and cannot be resolved, it is recommended to reinstall the service pack and reinstall the drivers in a different order.
6.3 Windows 98/2000 Driver Installation Points
VGA driver: Run X: HIPDRV VGA ATI M6 SETUP.EXE for automatic installation.
LAN driver: The system may automatically install universal drivers. To ensure compatibility, it is recommended to manually update to the dedicated drivers in the CD (X: CHIPDRV LAN 100PDISK).
Windows 98 LAN driver installation: If the system prompts for the original Win98 CD installation protocol, please insert it as required.
6.4 Windows NT LAN Driver Installation (Floppy Disk Creation)
Due to the inability of Windows NT to directly install drivers from CDs, a driver floppy disk needs to be created first:

Troubleshooting steps for possible causes of fault phenomena
There is no response when powered on, the power indicator light on the front panel is not on, and the power supply on the chassis backplane is abnormal or the module is not properly inserted. Check the power supply of the CompactPCI chassis and confirm that the module is fully inserted into the system slot
Check if SODIMM is securely plugged in when there is no display during system startup due to poor CPU/memory contact or loose VGA cable; Confirm VGA connection; Attempt to clear CMOS (JP2)
COM2 communication failure or garbled jumper configuration does not match the device protocol. Reconfigure JP1/JP3/JP4 based on the actual connected device (RS-232/422/485)
The onboard hard drive cannot recognize IDE cable looseness or hard drive failure. Check the 44 pin IDE connector; Enter BIOS to check if IDE device is detected
The network card cannot connect to the network. If the network driver is not installed correctly or if the network port LED is abnormal, check the amber LED (speed) and green LED (Link); Reinstall Intel 82559 driver

8.1 Temperature Monitoring Strategy

+3.3V: Normal range 3.0V~3.6V
+5V: Normal range 4.75V~5.25V
+12V: Normal range 11.4V~12.6V
If the voltage continues to be low, it may indicate aging of the power module or poor contact of the backplane.
