Electrostatic discharge: Before touching the connector pins, touch a grounded metal object to release static electricity.
Electromagnetic compatibility: Improper use of cables or wiring may lead to a decrease in EMC performance, and it is necessary to use professionally assembled and well shielded cables.
Equipotential current: The equipotential current between different devices may cause signal interference or fire, and if necessary, equipotential connecting conductors should be laid.
UV rays: Avoid direct sunlight to prevent the plastic shell from becoming brittle.
Cleaning: Do not use sharp objects, abrasives, or solvents for cleaning to prevent liquids from entering the equipment.
Installation opening: It is necessary to ensure that the opening position does not weaken the structural strength of the cabinet, and the material thickness meets the requirements (2-5 mm for front installation, 1.5 mm or 2 mm ± 0.1 mm for rear installation according to the model).
Installation Guide
4.1 Installation location requirements
Environmental temperature: Operating at 0-50 ° C, storing at -20 ° C to 60 ° C, relative humidity at 10% to 95% without condensation.
Ventilation and heat dissipation: The equipment adopts natural convection cooling, with a minimum gap of 30 mm around and at least 15 cm away from heating elements (such as transformers).
Installation angle: Vertical installation, maximum tilt angle ± 45 ° (for 15.6 "models, the tilt angle should not exceed 10 ° in environments above 45 ° C).
SD card slot: It should be avoided to install facing downwards to prevent the card from falling off.
4.2 Pre installation (XV-303)
Hole size on the cabinet: Depending on the model (refer to the size chart in the manual).
Check if the sealing strip is intact and embedded in the groove of the front panel.
Pre install the hexagonal socket screw on the fixing clip.
Insert the device into the opening from the front, hang the fixing clip, tighten the screws (torque ≤ 0.1 Nm), and ensure that the sealing strip is evenly compressed.
Check if the equipment is centered and if the sealing strip is properly attached.
4.3 Post installation (XV-313)
Drill holes on the installation panel according to the dimension diagram and weld M4 × 12 bolts.
Insert the device into the opening from the back, center it, and secure it with washers and nuts to ensure no gaps.
Select the corresponding version based on the panel thickness (A00:1.5 mm, A11:2 mm).
4.4 Functional grounding
The equipment must be connected to conductive structures (such as cabinets) with low impedance through grounding bolts. The cross-sectional area of the grounding wire should be ≥ 1.5 mm ², the length should be ≤ 350 mm, and the torque should be 1.3 Nm. This is a necessary condition to ensure EMC performance.
4.5 Power Connection
Use the included Phoenix Contact MSTB 2.5-3/-ST-5.08 plug and wire as follows:
Terminal+:+24 VDC
Terminal -0 VDC
Intermediate terminal: not connected (functional grounding has been separately connected)
Strip the wire with a length of 7 mm and a torque of 0.6-0.8 Nm.

Interface and Communication
5.1 Ethernet
Two Ethernet ports (if any) are labeled as LAN1 and LAN2, with 10/100 Mbps adaptive.
Use shielded twisted pair (STP) with a maximum length of 100 meters.
The green LED is on to indicate that the link is normal, and the yellow flashing indicates data transmission.
5.2 USB interface
USB host:Type A, Supports USB drives, mice, etc., with a maximum power supply of 500 mA.
USB device:Type B, Used to connect to a PC for maintenance or data transmission.
Only use shielded USB cables, with a length not exceeding 5 meters.
5.3 Serial Interface
RS-232(COM1)
9-pin D-Sub male connector, with pin definitions in accordance with standards.
The maximum baud rate is related to the line length: 115200 bit/s within 2.5 meters and 9600 bit/s at 30 meters.
Shielded cables must be used, with the shielding layer connected to the connector housing.
RS-485(COM2)
9-pin D-Sub male head, non isolated.
Pin: 3 (B line), 5 (GND), 7 (A line), the rest are not connected.
Characteristic impedance of 120 Ω, maximum length of 1200 m, and maximum baud rate of 115200 bit/s.
Both ends of the bus need to be connected with 120 Ω terminal resistors.
5.4 CAN interface
9-pin D-Sub male head, compliant with CiA standards.
Pin: 2 (CAN-L), 3 (GND), 6 (GND optional), 7 (CAN-H).
The characteristic impedance is 120 Ω, and the maximum length depends on the wire diameter: 100 m (0.25 mm ²) to 500 m (0.75 mm ²).
Both ends of the bus need to be connected to 120 Ω terminal resistors, with a maximum of 32 nodes.
5.5 SD card slot
Located on the side of the device, it supports SD/SDHC cards.
The insertion and removal of cards must be done when the power is turned off to avoid data loss.
Do not turn off the power when writing operations.
Operation and Debugging
6.1 First start-up
After connecting to the power supply, the device automatically starts (without a power switch).
If you need to set system parameters such as time and network, please refer to the Linux system description.
Install the required visualization or PLC runtime software (to be purchased separately).
6.2 Touch calibration
