DESCRIPTION

The TC809A,B,D Monitor Modules are intelligent loop interface devices for the DeltaNet FS90 Plus Fire & Security and XLS1000 systems. These units—in addition to intelligent smoke and thermal sensors—provide a complete range of intelligent loop monitoring functions that include addressable/ analog sensing, monitoring and enhanced survivability of loop communications.

FEATURES 

• Individual addressable input for fire alarm or security devices. 

• Full analog supervision of circuits. 

• TC809A and TC809D have an integral LED to indicate scan, alarm, or activation. 

• TC809A monitors either two- or four-wire (faulttolerant) initiating device circuits; TC809B only for two-wire circuits. 

• TC809D has two independent 2-wire initiating device circuits at two separate, consecutive addresses. 

• TC809D monitors normally open contact fire alarm and supervisory devices, or either normally open or normally closed security devices.

Product Models and Differences

TC809A: As an earlier model, TC809A is widely used in fire protection systems. It has basic monitoring functions and can meet the monitoring needs of most fire-fighting equipment.

TC809B: It may be an upgraded or improved model of the TC809A, and the specific differences may include performance enhancement, function enhancement or design optimisation. Please note, however, that due to limited information, specific points of difference cannot be given here.

TC809D: The D model may represent a specially configured or functionally extended surveillance module. For example, the TC809D1004 may be a dual monitoring module capable of monitoring the status of two fire appliances simultaneously.
