The PCS009.S replicates the original key layout and legends exactly, ensuring no software or configuration changes are needed. The metal dome technology provides a distinct tactile click, giving operators positive feedback even with gloved hands. The membrane is resistant to dust, oil, and mild solvents, making it suitable for factory environments.
Installation is straightforward: the FFC connector plugs directly into the panel's controller board, and the adhesive backing ensures firm attachment. The optional backlight connects to the panel's internal power supply.
Disconnect the panel from power. Remove the old keyboard by carefully peeling it off and detaching the FFC cable. Clean the mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol. Align the new keypad and press firmly to activate the adhesive. Connect the FFC cable to the socket, ensuring correct orientation. Reassemble the panel and test each key for proper function.
Handle the keypad with care to avoid creasing or scratching. Do not use sharp objects to press keys.
Indoor industrial use, temperature -10 to 60 °C. Avoid exposure to strong acids or alkalis. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent.
Spare part for Lauer PCS series, Topline consoles, and other industrial HMIs requiring keypad replacement due to wear or damage.
