The Rohwedder PQ1206 is a compact operator control panel built on the Lauer PCS095 platform (model PG 095.508.A). Functional Features
The PQ1206 supports basic graphical objects including buttons, numeric input fields, bar graphs, and alarm lists. It can store up to 500 alarm events and 2,000 data log records. Communication drivers include Modbus RTU and ASCII, with optional Ethernet for remote access. The panel is programmed using Lauer Configurator Basic, which provides a simple drag-and-drop environment. It also supports password protection for up to 3 user levels and includes a screen saver function.
When equipped with Ethernet, the panel allows remote firmware updates and data exchange.
Installation Guidelines
Mount the panel in a cutout using the provided clips and gasket. Connect the 24 V DC power supply with a 0.5 A fuse. For RS485, use shielded twisted-pair cable with termination resistors. For Ethernet, use CAT5e cable. Download the application via the serial port or Ethernet. Ensure proper grounding and avoid cable routing near high-voltage sources.
