The SAC IOP313 is a high-precision analog input module designed for process control and industrial automation systems. The IOP313 utilizes a 24-bit sigma-delta ADC with programmable gain and filtering to achieve outstanding noise rejection and accuracy. The module's built-in cold junction compensation and linearization for thermocouples (with optional external CJC) allow direct connection of temperature sensors. Each channel can be individually configured for different input types and ranges, making the module highly versatile for mixed-signal applications.
A key feature of the IOP313 is its integrated HART pass-through on all 8 channels. This allows the module to communicate with HART-enabled smart transmitters for device configuration, diagnostic data retrieval, and process variable readback without additional hardware. The HART communication is transparent to the main controller, accessible via Modbus TCP, enabling remote asset management and predictive maintenance.
