General Electric Q-Line, Type TEY, 3P, 3PH, 40A, 277/480V, 14kA@480V, standard interrupting capacity, 40 degree C, bolt-on, thermal magnetic molded case circuit breakers. Technical Specifications Brand GE Series Q-Line庐 Voltage Rating 277/480 VAC Amperage Rating 40 A Interrupt Rating 14 kA Frame TEY Trip Type LI/Non-Interchangeable Number Of Poles 3 Phase 3 Connection Type Load Lug Wire Size 14 to 8 kcmil, 12 to 8 kcmil Mounting Type Bolted-On Temperature Rating 40 deg C Dimensions 5-1/4 in H x 3 in W x 3-1/16 in D Information About TEY340 The TEY340 is a General Electric (GE) Q-Line molded case circuit breaker. It is a Type TEY breaker, designed for industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable circuit protection.

This breaker features a three-pole (3P) configuration and is suitable for three-phase (3PH) electrical systems. The TEY340 operates with a voltage rating of 277/480 VAC and an amperage rating of 40A. It has an interrupting capacity of 14 kA at 480V, ensuring it can handle significant fault conditions. This breaker is constructed with a thermal magnetic trip mechanism, providing both long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection, and features a non-interchangeable trip unit. The circuit breaker is designed for bolt-on mounting, ensuring a secure and stable installation within the electrical panel. It has load lug connections, which accommodate wire sizes ranging from 14 to 8 kcmil for copper conductors and 12 to 8 kcmil for aluminum conductors. This versatility in wire size compatibility allows for a range of installation scenarios and simplifies the connection process.
