Construction of a modern infrastructure system was accelerated

Innovation infrastructure is being optimized at a faster pace. A relatively complete system of major science and technology infrastructure has been built, and 32 of the 77 national major science and technology infrastructure facilities under construction have been completed and put into operation. More than 200 national engineering research centers, more than 1,600 state-level enterprise technology centers and a number of national industrial innovation centers have been established in key areas, and the system of technology development facilities has been continuously improved.

Up to now, China's 5G base stations have opened more than 2 million stations, basically achieving continuous coverage of key towns and regions above. As the main force of the national team, China Telecom uses cloud network integration to accelerate digital information infrastructure. "Accelerating the improvement of new infrastructure such as 5G, vigorously strengthening technological innovation, and promoting the deep integration of digital technology and the real economy will provide strong support for building a new development pattern and promoting high-quality development." Ke Ruiwen, secretary of the Party Group and chairman of China Telecom Group, said that China Telecom will strengthen the research of key core technologies, strive to lay out a number of cutting-edge technologies, create a number of benchmarking applications, help open up the information "artery" of economic and social development, and add new momentum for China's economic development and people's livelihood security.
