Construction of a modern infrastructure system was accelerated

We will deepen the energy revolution

To develop the economy and improve people's livelihood, energy is an important guarantee. In the past ten years, China's energy production has supported an average annual growth of 6.6% of the national economy with an average annual growth of 2.4%, and the energy self-sufficiency rate has been stable for a long time at more than 80%. China has built a diversified and clean energy supply system, forming an east-west, north-south, nationwide, and overseas energy infrastructure network, which effectively meets the energy needs of economic and social development.

China has built the world's largest power system with 2.47 billion kilowatts of installed power generation capacity. 33 ultra-high voltage power transmission channels have been built and put into operation, with nearly 300 million kilowatts of power being sent from west to east. The construction of green and low-carbon energy infrastructure was accelerated. The total installed capacity of renewable energy generation exceeded 1.1 billion kilowatts, nearly three times that of a decade ago, accounting for more than 30% of the world's total installed capacity of renewable energy. The installed capacity of hydropower, wind power, photovoltaic and biomass power generation and the scale of nuclear power under construction rank first in the world.

New energy infrastructure is booming. The digital and intelligent level of energy infrastructure continues to improve, the construction of smart grids is accelerated, and the distribution automation coverage rate will exceed 90% in 2021. The construction of intelligent coal mines has been accelerated, and more than 800 intelligent mining faces have been built. Diversified and rapid development of new energy storage, the scale of more than 4 million kilowatts.

"On the whole, China has made remarkable achievements in the development of energy infrastructure, providing strong support for comprehensively building a modern socialist country." At present, Shantou city in Guangdong province is accelerating the development of offshore wind power industry. Rural life is rushing towards modernization

Drinking water safety in rural areas is related to the livelihood and well-being of farmers. Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, China has completed a cumulative investment of 466.7 billion yuan in rural water supply projects, solved the problem of drinking water safety for 280 million rural residents, and consolidated and improved the level of water supply security for 340 million rural people. In particular, China has comprehensively solved the problem of safe drinking water for 17.1 million registered poor people, properly solved the problem of excessive fluoride in drinking water for 9.75 million rural people and the problem of upgrading brackish water for 1.2 million rural people.
