Renewable energy will be the main incremental

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the development of renewable energy is facing new situations and new tasks. Li Chuangjun, director of the New Energy and renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, said that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's renewable energy development will enter a new stage and show new characteristics.

Large-scale development. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the annual installed capacity of renewable energy will be greatly increased, and the installed capacity will be further expanded, and the installed capacity of renewable energy will account for more than 50% of China's total installed power capacity by the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan".

High proportion development. The proportion of renewable energy in energy consumption will continue to increase, by the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan", it is expected that the proportion of renewable energy in the increase of electricity consumption in the whole society will reach about 2/3, and the proportion in the increase of primary energy consumption will exceed 50%. "Renewable energy will change from the incremental supplement of energy and electricity consumption to the main body of energy and electricity consumption increase." Li Chuangjun said.

Market development. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the market will further play a decisive role in the allocation of renewable energy resources. Li Chuangjun introduced that from this year, the development of wind power photovoltaic will enter the parity stage, get rid of the dependence on financial subsidies, and achieve market-oriented development and competitive development.

High quality development. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, it will enhance the absorption and storage capacity of new energy by accelerating the construction of a new power system with new energy as the main body, so as to realize the large-scale development of renewable energy and achieve a high level of consumption and utilization, ensure the reliable and stable supply of electricity, and achieve high-quality development.
