In the field of industrial assembly, the quality of bolt tightening is directly related to product safety and reliability. Atlas Copco's Tensor S series electric tightening tools (including ETV, ETD, ETP and other models) have become the core equipment of many production lines by virtue of brushless motor and full electronic control technology. However, any precision tool will face the risk of performance degradation or sudden failure during long-term high load operation. This article combines official technical documents to systematically review the installation specifications, daily maintenance points, common fault phenomena, and systematic troubleshooting methods of Tensor S series tools from the perspective of engineering practice. The aim is to provide on-site maintenance engineers with a ready to use decision-making reference.
Has the torque fluctuation cable connection, grounding continuity, and memory calibration values been altered, recalibrated, or replaced with sensors
Abnormal indicator light (red/yellow frequency), changes in approval documents, changes in soft and hard joints, external electromagnetic interference re verification and adjustment of procedures
Increased motor noise, lubrication condition of planetary gears, bearing wear, disassembly and inspection, and addition of specified lubricating grease
