System Integration Compliance - Whose Responsibility?
When the PF4000 controller and its accessories are integrated into a complete system, IEC/EN 60204-1 is typically used for system safety assessment. The controller itself complies with IEC/EN 61010-1 (component standard), which lays the foundation for system compliance. But ultimately, system compliance is the sole responsibility of the system integrator, as it is impossible to predict all possible configuration combinations. Accessories must be used in strict accordance with Atlas Copco's regulations. Any non original accessories or unauthorized modifications may lead to invalid compliance and invalid warranty.
Significant risks associated with program changes and remote startup
7.1 Program Configuration Change Risks
Changes to the tightening program configuration may result in unexpected torque, rotation direction, or speed in the system currently using the program, which can cause serious personal injury or property damage. After adding a new program or modifying an existing program, it is necessary to thoroughly check the tightening program configuration to ensure that all parameters meet the actual process requirements.
7.2 Remote Startup Risks
The remote start function may cause the tool to start unexpectedly, posing a danger. Therefore, it is necessary to install an emergency stop (EM Stop) device in the appropriate location and configure the EM Stop connector correctly according to the Power Focus product manual.
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
When cleaning components, only use a damp cloth and water, and it is strictly prohibited to use cleaning agents containing solvents;
Before maintenance, the power must be disconnected;
Only qualified personnel can carry out repairs;
Only using original replacement parts, using unauthorized parts may result in decreased performance, increased maintenance, or even warranty failure.

9.1 EU CE Compliance
PF4000 complies with the 2004/108/EC (EMC) and 2006/95/EC (LVD) directives, with application standards including EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-3, and EN 61010-1. Technical documents can be obtained from the Product Compliance Manager.
9.2 WEEE and RoHS
The product complies with the WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU) and is marked with a crossed wheel trash can symbol (with a single black line below), indicating the presence of components that require WEEE treatment. The entire product or related components can be sent to the customer center for processing. In terms of RoHS, the product complies with 2011/65/EU, but contains lead (lead metal CAS 7439-92-1) - which is a legal exemption in RoHS and will not leak or mutate during normal use. 9.3 FCC/IC Declaration
This device complies with FCC Part 15 and is classified as a Class A digital device. It may cause radio frequency interference when operating in a commercial environment, and users are required to correct it at their own expense. Indoor use only (for UWB tag function). CAN ICES-1 (B)/NMB-1 (B) complies with Canadian standards.
