LINAK LA23 Electric Linear Push Rod: High Performance and Comprehensive Reliability in Compact Design

In the fields of industrial automation, medical equipment, furniture adjustment, and agricultural machinery, electric linear push rods are the core executive components for achieving precise linear motion. LA23 is a DC powered electric linear push rod, with its core advantages of "small size and large thrust". The push rod housing adopts a compact design, which can easily be embedded in equipment with strict installation space limitations. Whether it is necessary to push up, pull back, or keep an object in a certain position, LA23 can provide stable and reliable linear motion.

The main technical highlights include:

High push-pull force: The maximum load can reach 2500 N (push or pull, depending on the screw pitch), which can meet the needs of most industrial and special applications.

Compact structure: The aluminum outer tube is available in black/light gray, and the overall length has been optimized to accommodate narrow spaces.

Multiple screw pitches: available in 3, 5, 6, 9, 12, 20 mm and other pitches, users can choose according to speed and load requirements.

Flexible travel range: The standard travel range is from 20 mm to 500 mm, with an adjustable step size of 1 mm, covering a wide range of application scenarios.

Rich positioning feedback: supports various position feedback methods such as Hall sensors, potentiometers (0-10V, etc.), PWM, and integrated controllers (IC).

Safety usage standards and design principles

3.1 Safety symbol description

LINAK defines three types of prompt symbols in the product manual:

Warning: Failure to comply may result in serious personal injury.

Suggestion: Failure to comply may result in damage to the push rod.

Additional information: Tips for proper use.

All personnel involved in installation, wiring, and operation must be familiar with the contents of this manual. Children, individuals with limited physical or mental abilities are not allowed to use push rods without supervision.

3.2 Pre installation inspection and operation precautions

Before installing or disassembling the push rod, it is necessary to ensure that:

The push rod is in a non operational state.

The push rod is unloaded to prevent accidental release.

Before putting into operation, it is necessary to confirm:

The push rod should be installed correctly according to the instructions.

The moving parts are unobstructed throughout the entire range of travel.

The supply voltage is consistent with the nominal value on the push rod label.

The connecting bolts can withstand corresponding wear and securely fix.

During operation, attention should be paid to:

Listen for abnormal sounds, observe if the operation is smooth, and stop immediately if there is any abnormality.

Avoid lateral loads and only apply force along the axial direction.

Do not step or kick the push rod.

Do not use beyond work restrictions.

When the equipment is not in use, the main power should be cut off to prevent accidental start-up, and abnormal wear should be checked regularly.

3.3 Mechanical end stop and one-time fault safety

LA23 is always equipped with a mechanical end stop device to meet the requirements of EN 60601-1 standard for "one-time fault safety". When the electrical limit switch fails, the mechanical end stop will prevent the push rod from coming out of the screw. Mechanical end stop is only used as a backup protection for electrical end stop.

For different travel lengths, the actual position of the mechanical end upon arrival is calculated as follows:

Travel<50 mm: Retracted end approximately BID -2 mm; The protruding end is approximately BID+SL+2 mm.

Travel ≥ 50 mm: retraction end approximately BID -2 mm; The protruding end is approximately BID+SL+4 mm.

Among them, BID is the built-in size (the distance between the centers of the two mounting holes when retracted), and SL is the stroke.

If the user uses a push rod with a stroke less than 50 mm and the electrical end stops and fails, the push rod will travel an additional distance (50 mm - actual stroke) before touching the mechanical end and stopping. For example, if a 20 mm stroke push rod fails, it will travel an additional 30 mm. This margin must be considered when designing applications.
