The LAUER PCS950C is a premium process control station designed for operator‑intensive applications requiring high computational power and superior display quality. The PCS950C features a 15.6‑inch TFT display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) and IPS technology, providing wide viewing angles (178°/178°) and 16.7 million colours. The brightness is rated at 500 cd/m², with a 1200:1 contrast ratio. The screen is protected by a chemically‑strengthened glass with an anti‑glare coating and is optionally available with a projected capacitive touchscreen that supports up to 10 simultaneous touch points. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 accelerator ensures smooth rendering of 3D models and live video feeds.

Processor and Memory

At the core is an Intel Core i7‑7600U processor (2.8 GHz, up to 3.9 GHz) with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM (two SO‑DIMM slots, expandable to 32 GB). Storage is provided by a 512 GB NVMe SSD with read speeds up to 3000 MB/s. The system also includes a microSD card slot for additional storage or for data logging. The motherboard includes a hardware RAID 0/1 controller, allowing two M.2 SSDs to be configured for either performance or redundancy.

Installation and Networking

For panel installation, cut the required opening and use the supplied clamping screws to secure the unit. For VESA mounting, use M4 screws of appropriate length. Connect the power supply (24 V DC) – the terminal block accepts 0.5‑2.5 mm² conductors. For network redundancy, connect both Ethernet ports to separate switches; the system supports failover and load‑balancing. After power‑on, the system will boot into the Out‑of‑Box Experience (OOBE) where you can set the language, time zone, and network configuration. Spare Parts and Upgrades
