Functional Features
The PCS830.0 supports a broad range of communication drivers including Modbus, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Omron. It features a built-in web server for remote access, alarm management with email notification, and data logging to USB or SD card. The panel includes a rich object library for creating intuitive graphical screens, with support for animations, trends, and recipes.
Configuration is done with Lauer Configurator Pro, which provides simulation and debugging tools. The unit also supports FTP for file transfer and can be integrated into OPC UA networks. The USB host ports allow connection of a mouse, keyboard, or printer.
Installation Guidelines
Mount the panel in a panel cutout with the supplied clamps. Ensure the gasket is properly placed. Connect the 24 V DC power with a 1 A fuse. For RS485, use shielded cable with termination. For Ethernet, use CAT5e. Provide adequate clearance behind for cables and ventilation.
Operating Conditions
Operates at 0–50 °C, vibration 0.5 g (10–150 Hz), shock 10 g (11 ms). Backlight life: 50,000 hours.
