Product Overview

The Lauer PCS950.000.5 (version PG 950.103.0, also known as PQ1140) is a high‑performance operator control panel originally developed for Branson ultrasonic welding machines. It features a large graphic display and a comprehensive keypad, providing operators with full control over welding parameters, process monitoring, and diagnostic access. The panel is fully compatible with the standard LAUER PCS950 series and can be used as a general‑purpose HMI for other industrial equipment requiring a rugged, feature‑rich interface.

Display and Graphical Interface

The panel is equipped with a 10.4‑inch TFT colour display with a resolution of 800 x 600 (SVGA) and a bright LED backlight (500 cd/m²). The screen offers a wide viewing angle (80° in all directions) and a contrast ratio of 500:1. It supports both text and full‑colour graphics, enabling the creation of detailed process screens, trend charts, and animated symbols. The display is protected by a hard‑coated anti‑glare glass. An optional resistive touchscreen is available (not standard on this model).

Keypad and Operator Input

The front panel includes a 28‑key membrane keypad with a numeric block (0‑9), a decimal point, sign, and 16 programmable function keys (F1‑F16) with integrated LEDs for status feedback.
