The Systeme Lauer PCS810‑1 is a plug‑in interface module designed to expand the communication capabilities of LAUER PCS series operator panels. It provides additional serial ports and fieldbus connectivity, enabling seamless integration into various industrial networks. The module is compact, easy to install, and draws power directly from the host panel.
RS‑232 Port: 9‑pin D‑sub, fully isolated
RS‑485 Port: Screw terminal, half‑duplex, with termination option
Profibus DP (optional): Slave interface with 9‑pin D‑sub
Configuration: Via host panel's software, no separate programming required
Power: 5 V DC from host, < 150 mA
Isolation: 1.5 kV between ports and host
Baud Rates: Up to 115200 (serial) / 12 Mbit (Profibus)
Dimensions: 60 x 50 x 20 mm
Weight: 50 g
Temperature: 0‑55 °C
Ensure host panel is powered off. Remove the cover from the expansion slot, insert the module, and secure with screws. Connect the required cables (serial or fieldbus). Set any address switches (for Profibus). Power on – the host panel will detect the module automatically.
In the host panel's configuration software, enable the additional ports and set parameters (baud rate, protocol). For Profibus, import the GSD file into the master PLC.
Periodically check cable connections. No internal user‑serviceable parts.
PCS810‑1 standard. Profibus option available as PCS810‑1‑PB.
