EATO NeasyE4 Micro PLC Easy Control

Product Overview

The Eaton EasyE4 series is a globally leading micro programmable logic controller (nano PLC) designed specifically for small and medium-sized automation control systems. It integrates 12 I/O points and can be scaled up to 188 I/O points through expansion modules, providing ideal solutions for lighting control, energy management, industrial automation, irrigation systems, pump control, HVAC, and building automation.

Regardless of the application, the compact and flexible EasyE4 can help users achieve efficient and easy deployment of control systems. Its modular design, rich communication interfaces, and user-friendly programming environment make it the perfect bridge between traditional relay control and complex PLC systems.


Core Features and Design Advantages

1. Flexible hardware configuration

EasyE4 offers a variety of basic unit options, and users can choose models with or without display screens according to their needs. The basic unit integrates digital input and output, and supports analog expansion to adapt to different signal types.

Model with display screen: Built in backlit LCD display screen and keyboard, convenient for on-site debugging, monitoring, and parameter modification.

Model without display screen: Suitable for cost sensitive or non local operation scenarios, all configurations are completed through software.

2. Modular expansion capability

EasyE4 can easily expand to 188 I/O points by connecting up to 11 expansion modules. The types of extension modules include:

Digital I/O module: relay output (8A/5A) and transistor output

Analog I/O module: suitable for process control signals (0-10V, 4-20mA)

Temperature input module: directly connected to temperature sensors such as PT100

All modules adopt a compact design with a width of only 35.5mm or 71.5mm, saving control cabinet space.

3. Strong programming skills

EasyE4 supports multiple programming languages to meet the usage habits of different users:

LD (ladder diagram): the most classic PLC programming language, suitable for electrical engineers to quickly get started.

ST (Structured Text): A high-level language suitable for complex algorithms and data processing.

The programming software easySoft 7 provides an intuitive graphical interface that supports:

Rich library of functional blocks (counters, timers, edge triggers, interrupt control)

User defined Function Blocks (UDFB) for code reuse

Online monitoring and debugging

4. Advanced control functions

EasyE4 has multiple advanced control functions built-in, surpassing the capabilities of traditional micro PLCs

Counter: high-speed counting, addition and subtraction counting, frequency measurement

Timer: Multiple timing modes (power on delay, power off delay, pulse output)

Interrupt control: edge triggered interrupts, timed interrupts to ensure real-time response to critical tasks

User defined functional blocks: encapsulate common logic and simplify program structure


Visualization and on-site operation

EasyE4 basic unit with display screen provides convenient local visualization capabilities:

Custom background color: distinguish between different alarms or operating states

Startup screen: customizable brand or system logo

Real time data display: monitoring I/O status, variable values, and fault information

Parameter adjustment: Modify the set values online through the keyboard

This allows operators to complete on-site monitoring and operations without the need for additional HMI devices.

2. Remote visualization

EasyE4 has a built-in web server that supports remote access through a standard browser

Wireless connection: Connect to the network through WLAN routers, repeaters, or dLAN (power line communication)

Cross platform access: Any device (PC, tablet, phone) that supports HTML5 browser can access it

Real time monitoring: View I/O status, variables, and fault logs

Operation control: Authorized users can remotely start and stop devices, modify parameters

3. HMI integration

EasyE4 supports seamless connection with HMI panels such as Eaton XV100 and XV300, and enables data exchange through Modbus TCP protocol. Users can build professional level visual interfaces to meet the monitoring needs of complex processes.
