FANUC Series 0i MODEL F Plus Standard CNC System

Overview of Fanuc Oi-F Plus Intelligent CNC System

FANUC Series Oi MODEL F Plus is a new generation of standard CNC system launched by FANUC Corporation, with the core concept of "easier to use and more powerful", comprehensively upgrading the graphic design, operational performance, and intelligence level. The system is equipped with Fanuc's latest CNC and servo technology, and always supports various operations on the machining site through iHMI (Intelligent Human Machine Interface). It also comes standard with user-defined functions, supporting personalized customization of display and operation. The Oi-F Plus series is divided into two product lines, which can be flexibly selected according to different purposes to meet diverse needs from small to large machine tools.


System composition and hardware configuration

The Oi-F Plus CNC system adopts a modular design, which can be flexibly configured according to the type of machine tool and application requirements.

2.1 CNC control unit

Provide two control unit options: integrated and separated. The FANUC iPC, PANEL iH and other display product lines that support iHMI, including compact 10.4-inch LCD/MDI units, can widely meet the needs of small to large machine tools.

2.2 Servo and Spindle System

Servo motor: A rich series of servo motor products to meet various performance requirements of machine tool feed axes.

Spindle motor: A diverse range of spindle motor products helps improve spindle performance.

Servo amplifier: a series of servo amplifier products suitable for various machine tools, which helps to achieve miniaturization of control cabinets.

2.3 I/O Units and Expansion Modules

I/O Unit: A rich product line of I/O units suitable for various settings and input/output devices.

Modular Expansion: Rich digital input/output modules and expansion modules, most suitable for control cabinet integration.

Distributed configuration: It can be configured near sensors scattered inside and outside the machine control cabinet to achieve wiring savings.

2.4 Handheld operating devices

The handheld unit product series equipped with emergency stop switch and manual pulse generator ensures the safety of machine tool operation.

3、 Efficient processing technology

Efficient machining technology refers to the general term for CNC and servo technologies that achieve shortened cycle times. By optimizing the acceleration and deceleration process, maximizing the use of spindle capacity, and shortening the sequential processing time of external signals, the cycle time of the machining program can be effectively reduced, and production efficiency can be improved.


Surface Fine Treatment Technology

Surface fine processing technology is a general term for CNC and servo technology used to achieve high-grade machining. It interpolates high-precision machining programs output by CAD/CAM, executes small line segment programs at high speed, generates smooth tool paths, and achieves precise instruction tracking.

4.1 Fine Surface Setting

Preset standard setting values suitable for different processing conditions such as rough machining, semi precision machining, and precision machining, which can be intuitively adjusted using a slider to achieve fast setting and adjustment of high-speed and high-precision parameters. Up to 10 processing condition settings can be saved, and the most suitable conditions can be selected during processing through processing program instructions or operation screens.

4.2 Smooth tolerance+control

For the processing path instructed by continuous micro program segments such as mold processing, the path can be smoothed within the specified tolerance range, making the processing path smooth, reducing mechanical impact, and improving the high-grade processing effect.

4.3 Servo Learning Control/Servo Learning type Shake Processing

By learning control techniques, optimizing repetitive machining paths, improving machining accuracy and surface quality.

4.4 Smooth TCP

A program that uses tool endpoint trajectories for instructions, including rotation axes, can achieve 4-axis linkage machining. CNC performs tool compensation and kinematic transformations in conjunction with the rotating axis, so there is no need to consider mechanical construction on CAM, greatly improving its compatibility with CAD/CAM. High precision interpolation of the tool endpoint trajectory of program instructions can smoothly process complex shapes such as impellers that contain blind spots that cannot be machined by 3-axis linkage.


Excellent operability and usability

5.1 Large Capacity Program Memory

Extended Program Memory (CF Card): Install the CF card into the display memory card slot, with a maximum capacity of approximately 2GB, providing excellent cost performance.

Extended Program Memory (PC): When using displays with PC functionality such as PANEL iH/HPro, the HDD/SSD of the PC can be used as program memory, with a maximum capacity of 40GB, enabling high-speed GOTO jump or retrieval.

5.2 One click running of USB programs

With this feature, the program running in USB memory is extremely simple. Copying from USB memory to program memory and selecting as the main program allows for one click operation.
