2.6 Modular Connection System - Modlink Vario

Modlink Vario is a pneumatic, fluid, and electrical hybrid coupler that can connect multiple media simultaneously without dripping. There are two types of substrates: circular (4/6/8/10) and rectangular (8), made of aluminum or stainless steel (V4A). The insert includes:

Pneumatic: AD4/6/8 (with or without shut-off valve, non drip type)

Electrical: M12 (5/4/6/8 pins, A/B/D code)

The mobile side and fixed side can be combined arbitrarily. This system can be disassembled and assembled without tools, making it very suitable for quick tool replacement and wall penetration of switchgear.

2.7 Heavy Duty Connector - Modlink Heavy

The Modlink Heavy series offers a variety of housing types (B6, B10, B16, B24), with locking methods including single locking rod and double locking rod. The output direction includes straight head and side head, with thread sizes ranging from M20 to M32. Protection level IP65. Insert cores are divided into:

Fixed plug: E series, 6/10/16/24 pin, push in terminal.

Modular plug: Assemble various functional modules through a framework (2/3/4/6 modules), including:

1-pin module: 1000 V/200 A (axial screw)

2-pin module: 1000 V/40/70/100 A

3-pin module: 690 V/40 A (crimping)

4-pin module: 830 V/40 A

5-pin module: 400 V/16 A (push in type)

6/8/12/17/20 pin module: 16 A or 10 A

Ethernet module: CAT6A (RJ45)

3.1 Standard circular connector

M8: 3-pin or 4-pin, straight or 90 °, with/without LED, shielded/unshielded, rated voltage 50 V AC/60 V DC, current 4 A. Made of PUR or PVC sheath, resistant to oil and chemical corrosion, suitable for C-type drag chains (up to 5 million bends).

M12: Available in 3, 4, 5, 8, and 12 pin versions, straight head/90 °, with LED, shielded/unshielded. The maximum rated voltage is 250 V AC/DC, and the current is 4 A (2 A for 8 pins). Encoding includes A (sensors/actuators), B (PROFIBUS), D (Ethernet), X (Gigabit), Y (hybrid), L/K/S/T (power supply), etc.

7/8 ": 5-pin, used for power supply, current 8-10 A, voltage 300 V AC/DC.

M23: 12 or 19 pins, used for signal and power supply, IP67， Suitable for distributed I/O boxes.

3.2 Fieldbus connectors

Supports PROFIBUS (B-encoding, 2-pin masking), DeviceNet/CANopen (A-encoding, 5-pin), Ethernet/EtherCAT/PROFINET (D-encoding, 4-pin or X-encoding, 8-pin), Cube67 (6-pin), AS Interface (2-pin), etc. Provide pre cast cables and on-site connectable (IDC or screw terminal) versions. RJ45 connectors have multiple directions such as straight head, 45 °, and 90 °, and some use push pull locking, which complies with AIDA standards, IP65/67。

3.3 Special connectors for the food and beverage industry

The M12 F&B Pro series is made of PP material and stainless steel 1.4404 (V4A) screws, with a protection level of IP65/IP68/IP69K and a working temperature of -40 to+105 ° C. The cable sheath is TPE-S (light blue) and resistant to cleaning agents (Ecolab). Provide 3, 4, and 5 needles, straight head/90 °, with LED optional. The M12 Steel series also uses stainless steel, with a permanent IP69K rating, suitable for high-pressure flushing areas.

3.4 Mobile Application Connector

For the fields of construction machinery and mobile hydraulics, Murrelektronik offers:

AMP Junior Power Timer: 2-pin, with LED and/or varistor, straight head/90 °.

Deutsch MDC: compatible with Deutsch DT series, 2/3/4/6 needles, IP68。

SuperSeal MSC1.5: compatible with AMP SuperSeal 1.5, 2/3/4/6 needles, IP67。

All products are equipped with PUR sheath and vibration resistant design.

3.5 Valve Connector - MSUD Series

Compliant with EN 175301-803 (formerly DIN 43650) standard, providing specifications such as Type A (18 mm needle pitch), Type B (10 mm), Type C (8 mm), BI (11 mm), CI (9.4 mm), etc. Integrated LED status indication and suppression circuit (RC, VDR, Z diode). Working voltage: 24 V AC/DC, 110 V AC/DC, 230 V AC/DC. Pre cast cables (PVC/PUR) or on-site wiring (screw terminals/IDC) are available. The dual valve plug is used to connect two valves simultaneously. It can be converted to an M12 connector through an adapter.

3.6 T-shaped distributor

Provide M8, M12, 7/8 "T-shaped distributors for parallel or series connection of sensors/actuators. The SlimLine series has an extremely narrow width, making it suitable for space constrained situations. The industrial Ethernet T-type distributor supports CAT5100 Mbit/s full duplex.
