 Striving for high-quality development and accelerating the construction of world-class enterprises is an inherent part of promoting Chinese-style modernization. State-owned enterprises are an important material and political foundation for socialism with Chinese characteristics, and an important pillar and force for our Party to govern and rejuvenate the country. If the enterprise is strong, the industry is strong and the country is strong. If the enterprise is prosperous, the industry is prosperous and the country is prosperous. To comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization requires the support of a large number of world-class enterprises that, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, can reflect national strength and international competitiveness, and lead the development of global science and technology and industries.

Forging ahead with high-quality development and accelerating the construction of world-class enterprises is an inevitable requirement for giving full play to the functions of state-owned enterprises. It is a major responsibility entrusted to state-owned enterprises by the central government to strengthen, improve and expand state-owned capital and state-owned enterprises, and enhance the competitiveness, innovation, control, influence and resilience of the state-owned economy. Only those who bear in mind the "great power of the country", strive to improve the quality and efficiency of development, and accelerate the construction of world-class enterprises can truly become the "ballast stone" of stable growth of the national economy, the "national team" of self-reliance and self-improvement of high-level science and technology, the "stabilizer" of safe development, and the most reliable backbone force of the Party and the country.

Forging ahead with high-quality development and accelerating the construction of world-class enterprises is an important guarantee for improving the resilience and security level of the energy industry chain and supply chain. At present, the global geopolitical and economic pattern has undergone profound adjustments, the international energy market has been violently shaken, and the energy trade pattern has been reshaped historically. In addition to commodity attributes, energy has prominent political and financial attributes. China's dependence on foreign oil and natural gas exceeds 70% and 40%, respectively, and the problem of energy security is more prominent. Only by accelerating the high-quality development of China's energy enterprises, enhancing the right to speak and influence in the global energy market, and improving the ability to acquire domestic oil and gas resources and optimize the allocation of international resources, can we effectively play the role of "pillar" of energy supply, firmly hold the rice bowl of energy in our own hands, and provide inexhaustible driving force for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Petrochina is an important state-owned backbone enterprise and the largest oil and gas production and supply enterprise in China.  It has provided us with fundamental compliance and strong motivation to fulfill our responsibilities and missions and do a good job in various tasks.  This gives millions of oil people a great encouragement and spur.

 It has created a new situation of high-quality development and laid a solid foundation for accelerating the construction of world-class enterprises. The capacity of domestic energy supply and global resource allocation has been effectively enhanced, and a new pattern of "three 100 million tons" of domestic crude oil production, domestic natural gas production equivalent, and overseas oil and gas equity equivalent has been formed and consolidated. The implementation of the national carbon peak carbon neutral strategic deployment, the implementation of the "clean alternative, strategic replacement, green transformation" three-step overall deployment, accelerate the development of new energy business, lit the first "green hydrogen" torch in the history of the Winter Olympics, a number of "Shage famine" new energy base projects accelerated the landing, green low-carbon transformation speed up. A number of landmark achievements were made in building innovation hubs for energy and chemical industries; major breakthroughs were made in tackling key core technologies in oil and gas, new energy, refining and chemical industries, new materials, and support and services; and substantial progress was made in building hubs for original technologies. However, the fundamental requirements for the development of high quality, and the standards of "product excellence, brand excellence, innovation leadership, and modern governance" of world-class enterprises, The contradiction of the company's "big but not strong", the problem of unbalanced and inadequate development, the gap between scientific and technological innovation in supporting the current and leading the future, the shortcomings of corporate governance and strengthening management, and the structural contradictions of the talent team are still obvious.
