Installation and wiring specifications

5.1 Preparation before installation

Installation work must be carried out by qualified electricians and strictly comply with the following safety regulations:

Disconnect the device power and prevent accidental reconnection

Verify equipment and power isolation

Grounding and short circuit

Cover or isolate adjacent live parts

Comply with the requirements of EN 50110-1/-2 (VDE 0105 part 100)

5.2 Hole Requirements

Front panel installation (XV-303):

Installation panel thickness: 2mm ≤ d ≤ 5mm

Hole flatness: ≤ 0.5mm, surface roughness Rz ≤ 120

The opening size needs to be precise to ensure that the sealing ring is uniformly compressed

Rear installation (XV-313):

A00 version: Installation panel thickness d=1.5mm ± 0.1mm

A11 version: d=2.0mm ± 0.1mm

M4 × 12 bolts need to be welded on the panel, with the position referring to the installation dimension diagram

5.3 Ventilation and heat dissipation

XV300 adopts natural convection cooling, and the following minimum spacing should be ensured during installation:

Equipment surroundings: ≥ 30mm

Distance from heating elements (such as heavy-duty transformers): ≥ 150mm

Do not block the ventilation openings above and below the equipment

5.4 Functional grounding

Proper functional grounding is crucial for electromagnetic compatibility and anti-interference performance:

Wire cross-sectional area: ≥ 1.5mm ² (AWG16)

Wire length: ≤ 350mm

Grounding bolt: M4 × 8, tightening torque 1.3Nm

Recommend using M4 perforated terminals with an inner diameter of 4.3mm and an outer diameter of ≤ 8mm

5.5 Power Wiring

The power connector adopts MSTB 2.5/3-ST-5.08 pluggable terminals:

Wire specification: 0.75-2.5mm ² (AWG18-12)

The power supply must come from a SELV power supply that complies with IEC 60950 or a low-voltage power supply that complies with UL 61010-2-201.
