The GE MM300-GEHD2CAB is a compact yet powerful motor management relay from the Multilin MM300 series, designed to provide comprehensive protection, control, and monitoring for low and medium voltage induction motors. This versatile relay combines advanced protection algorithms with integrated metering and communication capabilities in a space-efficient package. The MM300 is ideal for motor control centers, industrial facilities, and applications requiring reliable motor protection with minimal panel space.

Motor Protection Features

The MM300 provides comprehensive protection specifically engineered for induction motors. Thermal overload protection utilizes accurate thermal modeling that accounts for motor heating and cooling characteristics, preventing nuisance tripping while ensuring adequate protection. The relay supports configurable thermal curves to match specific motor characteristics. Short-circuit protection operates with fast response to clear high-magnitude faults. Ground fault protection is available with configurable sensitivity to detect earth faults that could cause motor damage or safety hazards.

The relay continuously monitors and displays key electrical parameters for motor operation:
