As China's northern regions have entered the heating season, the executive meeting of The State Council held recently required that the organization of gas supply enterprises increase the supply of resources as much as possible, coordinate the use of gas resources, timely organization of "south gas north", make good use of the formed gas storage, and do a good job of peak regulation and supply.

Previously, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission held a meeting to redeploy the energy supply of central enterprises, requiring petroleum and petrochemical and pipe network enterprises to increase production and storage, increase oil and gas exploration and development, actively develop shale gas and coal bed methane, improve the operation efficiency of pipe network, diversified international oil and gas cooperation, and constantly improve the capacity of supply protection.

In order to ensure that the people warm winter, a number of energy central enterprises early deployment, gas field production, gas storage gas injection, increase liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports, play the "national one net" advantage, to prepare for the natural gas supply this winter and spring.

Gas field to increase storage and production to improve domestic gas production

"At present, the daily production of natural gas in Changqing oilfield is maintained at more than 103 million cubic meters, and it is expected that the annual increase of natural gas will be 2.045 billion cubic meters compared with the same period last year, an increase of 4.56%." The relevant person in charge of CNPC introduced that since the beginning of this year, 91 new Wells have been put into operation in Tarim Oilfield, helping the daily production of natural gas to rise to 78 million cubic meters, exceeding the planned level by 1 million cubic meters, and has accumulated 19.6 billion cubic meters of gas to the west and east.

"The company is stepping up efforts to raise resources, focusing on the comprehensive adjustment and fine management of major gas fields such as Puguang, Yuanba, Fuling and Daniudi, and maintaining stable production of self-produced gas, with a planned supply of 13.2 billion cubic meters." The person in charge of Sinopec said.

The person in charge of China National Offshore Oil said that in June this year, China's first self-operated ultra-deep water 100 billion square gas field "deep sea No. 1" was put into operation, promoting the full production of offshore natural gas fields, maximizing the release of natural gas production capacity, onshore unconventional natural gas obtained multiple high-yield, ultra-high-yield Wells, and the production increased significantly, and it is expected that domestic natural gas will exceed the target of increasing storage and production this year.

Multi-party financing of imported LNG resources to ensure supply added "confidence"

"At present, the company has implemented about 18.45 billion cubic meters of LNG resources in the heating season." Jin Shuping, deputy general manager of China Petroleum and Gas Power Group Co., LTD., introduced that the four LNG receiving stations operated by CNOOC have formed a gas storage capacity of 1.9 billion cubic meters.

Previously, in July this year, CNOOC signed a long-term agreement with Petronas of Malaysia of 2 million tons/year, and at the end of September, signed a 15-year, 3.5 million tons/year long-term LNG purchase and sale agreement with Qatar Petroleum, which will be supplied from January next year.

"Two 200,000 storage tanks of the Jiangsu LNG Receiving Station expansion (Phase III) project have been successfully put into operation on schedule, with a capacity of 660 million cubic meters of LNG, which can maintain 35 million cubic meters of export for one month." The relevant person in charge of China Petroleum introduced.

The person in charge of Sinopec said that two new 160,000 cubic meters of storage tanks in Qingdao LNG receiving station have been put into operation in October this year, and the tank storage of two receiving stations will be fully enhanced before mid-November to further increase emergency peak load capacity. On November 4, Sinopec signed a 20-year, 4 million tons/year LNG long-term purchase and sale agreement with Virgi LNG Company of the United States.

The Tianjin LNG Receiving Station of the State Pipeline Network Group plans to receive and unload 45 LNG carriers this heating season, transporting 3 million tons of natural gas for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and North China, an increase of 32% year-on-year, and improving the natural gas supply guarantee capacity in North China.

Increase the gas injection capacity of gas storage to play an emergency peak regulation role

On October 24, Wen23 gas storage completed the annual gas injection task, and the maximum peak load capacity this winter can reach 22 million cubic meters/day, which is a sufficient "base" for natural gas peak load protection and supply in North China this winter and next spring.

At present, the gas injection volume of Liaohe oilfield reservoir group has exceeded 1.97 billion cubic meters, and the maximum daily peak load capacity will be increased to 30 million cubic meters. The maximum daily emergency peak load capacity of Hutubi gas storage in Xinjiang oilfield will exceed 30 million cubic meters, and the inventory will be 10 billion cubic meters. The peak daily gas production of the Huabei oil field reservoir group can reach more than 20 million cubic meters, and it is expected to increase the daily supply by nearly 5 million cubic meters compared with the peak last year, reaching the highest level in history.
