Product Overview
The FBM215 P0917TQ module is one of FOXBORO's compact HART® communication output interface modules, which provides eight isolated output channels, each of which can either output a standard 4 to 20 mA analogue signal, or a digital HART Frequency-Shift-Keyed (FSK) signal superimposed on that analogue signal. This enables the module to support both standard analogue devices and HART intelligent devices, enabling more flexible and efficient communication and control.
Technical Features
Eight-channel isolated output:
The module provides eight fully isolated output channels, each of which can work independently without interfering with each other.
Each channel can be selected to output a 4 to 20mA analogue signal or a HART FSK digital signal superimposed on the signal.
HART communication function:
As a HART communication field device host, the FBM215 P0917TQ enables the Foxboro DCS (Distributed Control System) to request and receive two digital messages per second from field devices.
HART general, common, and device-specific commands are supported, but burst communication mode is not supported.
High accuracy and stability:
Analogue output signals are accurate up to ±0.05% of range (between 4mA and 20mA).

Galvanic isolation and protection:
