NI PXI-4472B Sound and Vibration Module

Product Overview

Designed for vibration and low-frequency AC measurements, the NI PXI-4472B Sound and Vibration Module integrates integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) signal conditioning for accelerometers and microphones with built-in anti-alias filters that automatically adjust the sample rate. The module is suitable for a variety of industrial automation, test and measurement and laboratory research applications.

Functional features

IEPE signal conditioning:

The input channel integrates IEPE signal conditioning for accelerometers and microphones, enabling direct processing of signals from these sensors without the need for additional signal conditioning equipment.

Anti-alias filter:

Built-in anti-aliasing filters that automatically adjust to the set sample rate ensure the quality of the acquired signal.

Multi-Channel Input:

Provides 8 input channels for simultaneous acquisition of multiple sound and vibration signals, improving acquisition efficiency and flexibility.

Low Frequency AC Measurement:

When the device is in the AC coupling state, the cut-off frequency is only 0.5Hz, which is suitable for very low-frequency AC vibration measurement.

Synchronisation and Expansion:

Multiple PXI-4472B modules can be synchronised to meet the needs of high-channel-count applications, or the module can be synchronised with other devices using the RTSI bus.
