Basic parameters

Number of poles: 3 - Pole (3 poles). This means that it can be used to control three-phase AC circuits, and can control the on-off of three-phase lines at the same time, which is suitable for controlling three-phase loads such as three-phase motors.

Mounting: Bar-Mounted. This type of mounting facilitates the mounting of the contactor on a bar rack, which makes it easy to be neatly arranged and mounted in distribution cabinets and other equipment, saves space and facilitates heat dissipation.

Functional features

Control function:

It is mainly used to control the start, stop and forward/reverse operation of motors and other loads. Through the electromagnetic mechanism of the suction and release to control the contact closure and disconnection, so as to achieve the on-off control of the circuit. For example, in the industrial production of motor control, when the need to start the motor, the contactor coil is energised, the electromagnetic force makes the contacts close, the motor is connected to the power supply to start running; when the need to stop the motor, cut off the power supply to the coil, the contacts are disconnected under the action of the spring force and so on, the motor stops running.

With high control accuracy and reliability, it can respond quickly to the control signal and achieve precise control of the circuit. This is very important for some equipment that requires high control accuracy, such as motor control in automated production lines.

Electrical life and mechanical life:

Has a long electrical life and mechanical life. The contact material and structure design make it possible to maintain good contact performance and stable electrical performance under frequent on-off operations. For example, in some occasions that require frequent starting and stopping of motors, such as lift control systems, the contactor can withstand a large number of operations without being easily damaged.

Insulation performance:

With good insulation performance, it can effectively prevent the leakage of electricity between different poles as well as between the contacts and the shell. This is essential for operator safety and equipment operation in harsh environments such as high voltage and high humidity.

Compatibility and adaptability:

It can be used in conjunction with other electrical components (e.g. thermal relays, fuses, etc.) to form a complete motor protection and control circuit. For example, in conjunction with a thermal relay, when the motor is overloaded, the thermal relay operates to de-energise the contactor coil, thus protecting the motor from damage.

Application Areas

Industrial field:

Widely used in the control of various industrial motors, such as the motor control of machine tools, fans, pumps, compressors and other equipment in factories. In automated production lines, it is used to control conveyor belt motors, robotic arm motors, etc. to achieve automated production processes.

Commercial Buildings:

In the electrical systems of commercial buildings, it is used to control lift motors, compressor motors for air-conditioning systems, and ventilation equipment motors. For example, in the air conditioning system of a large shopping mall, contactors control the start and stop of compressor and fan motors to regulate indoor temperature and air quality.

Transport:

It is also used in equipment such as harbour cranes and electric vehicle charging piles. In harbour cranes, they are used to control the operation of motors such as lifting and panning of cranes; in electric vehicle charging piles, they control the on and off of charging circuits.
