ABB NSSM01 Superloop Serial Module

Functionality

Data storage and management: Stores and manages data within the hyperloop architecture, realising data exchange between different control devices and processors within the system.

Multiple Interface Support: Provides TTL, RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces, which can be easily connected and communicated with multiple devices.

Multi-channel transmission: provides 8 channels, which can simultaneously meet the transmission requirements of multiple devices or different signals.

Flexible transmission rate: the interface/channel rate can be selected from 1200/2400/4800/9600/19200/38400bps, which can be set according to the actual application scenarios and equipment requirements.

Automatic transmitting and receiving conversion: adopting half-duplex communication mode, transmitting and receiving are automatically converted, which shortens the conversion time and improves the communication efficiency.

Technical Parameters

Modulation mode: GFSK modulation is adopted, and the reliable transmission distance can reach 3000m within the line-of-sight range.

Carrier frequency: 490MHz, belonging to the measurement frequency band.

Application Scenario

Industrial automation production line: automation production line in electric power, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries, etc. It can realise automation control and monitoring of production equipments, ensure stable operation of production process and consistency of product quality, and improve production efficiency and work safety.

Process control system: In the process control system of chemical industry, metallurgy and other industries, it can be used to connect various sensors, actuators and controllers to realise real-time monitoring and precise control of temperature, pressure, flow and other process parameters.

Strong anti-interference ability: adopting the combination of balanced driver and differential receiver, it is good at anti-noise interference and can operate stably in complex industrial environment.

Long transmission distance: Compared with RS-232 serial bus standard, its transmission distance is far, which can meet the needs of a large range of equipment connection and data transmission.

Good system scalability: serial bus simplifies the system wiring, reduces the area of the circuit board, saves system resources, and facilitates system expansion and upgrading.

Easy to program and use: In the related programming environment, it has simple and easy-to-use characteristics, which can reduce programming time and facilitate engineers to carry out system configuration and programming.
