Superior performance for industrial automation

Powerful Processing Capability: PCCLON-1 is equipped with a high-performance processing core, which is capable of fast calculation and processing of all kinds of complex data at a frequency of up to 1000Hz. In industrial production, a large number of sensors collect real-time information on equipment operating status, process parameters, etc. PCCLON-1 can quickly and accurately analyse this massive amount of data, and generate precise control instructions in time to ensure the stable operation of production equipment. 

Take the automated assembly line of automobile manufacturing as an example, there are many robots and automated equipments working together, PCCLON-1 can process the operation data of each equipment in real time, accurately control the action of robotic arm, and realise the accurate grasping, carrying and assembling of parts, which greatly improves the assembly efficiency and product quality.


Abundant I/O interfaces: The component has 16 input channels and 8 output channels, which provides a convenient and seamless connection with all kinds of sensors and actuators. Through these rich interfaces, PCCLON-1 can accurately collect various signals from sensors, such as temperature, pressure, position, etc., and accurately output the processed control signals to the actuators to achieve precise control of the production process. In the electronics manufacturing industry, for the high-precision SMD production process, PCCLON-1 can be closely connected with the sensors and motors of the SMD equipment through its I/O interface to ensure the accurate placement of tiny electronic components and effectively improve the production quality and yield rate of electronic products.


Reliable design for harsh industrial environments

Rugged hardware structure: industrial field environment is complex, facing vibration, shock, high temperature, high humidity and electromagnetic interference and many other challenges, ABB in the PCCLON-1 hardware design takes these factors into account, the use of rugged housing and high-quality electronic components. The circuit board has been specially reinforced to provide excellent resistance to vibration and shock, and can effectively resist the influence of external mechanical stress; the electronic components selected have been rigorously screened to provide good resistance to high temperature, high voltage and electromagnetic interference. 


The component's operating temperature range of - 20 °C to + 70 °C allows stable operation in extreme temperatures, ensuring that the PCCLON-1 can still work reliably in harsh industrial environments, reducing the occurrence of failures due to environmental factors and guaranteeing the continuity of the production process.

Stable communication protocol support: PCCLON-1 adopts Modbus RTU communication protocol, which is widely used in the industrial field with high stability and strong compatibility. Through this protocol, PCCLON-1 can realise efficient and stable data exchange with other industrial equipment, which is convenient for system integration and management. In the automation network of smart factories, PCCLON-1 can easily communicate with the upper control system, other controllers and all kinds of intelligent devices to achieve real-time interaction and sharing of data, helping to build an efficient and cooperative automated production system.
